You can't know that, nor the relationship she has with her mom, it looks like momma loves her daughter with all her heart, and only wants her daughter to look great. The daughter is obviously very strong minded, and gets what she wants anyways...and she does want an HONEST opinion from her mom.

The mom iterated exactly the same thing the bride did - that she has a big bust and butt. When is "curvy" necessarily a pejorative? The mom was trying to look at her overall shape in the dress, and that was not different than what the bride wanted. They just had different opinions about the style. And in the end, the mom did not complain about the brides choice. Given they both have really big personalities, you know the mom wanted her to be happy. Why is that bad?

My mother said the same awful thing to my younger sister and her fiancé replied “I’m lucky that she loves and puts up with me!” They’ll be married 20 years next year.

she passed away a few years ago...i was friends with one of her bridesmaids,...so sad..i loved her attitude on the show too.

@@mo0dswings Really? That is so sad… she was so young. Ok I just looked her up and yes she did pass away in 2018. So sad and it said she had a son but no mention of husband so I wondered if she divorced. But how tragic as she was still so young. Her obituary did not mention her cause of death but I am guessing maybe it is due to illness or an accident? But it does not matter and I hope she rests in peace.

If you pay attention though, the mom isn't really as negative as the title hints at. She was supportive of both the 1st and 3rd dress even without lace...just didn't want her boobs hanging out. The Bride changed her views on the 1st two dresses after hearing her mom's view.
