I’m just amazed what some women will do, just because they’re afraid to be alone. If he can’t make you feel and treat you as a queen then there’s no need to be with him. I’m a newlywed and my husband made most of the preparations we discussed for our wedding before I got to Suriname. It was a destination wedding and he lives there and we had the most amazing fairytale wedding. He made sure everything and everyone was on time, I wasn’t with him the morning of the wedding because it’s customary that the bride leaves the night before, however I had absolutely nothing to worry about he was and simply is amazing before our wedding and currently the best husband God could have given me.

That was actually a big point of the story. Her family weren't supportive at all. They pretty much treated her like dirt, she did things for them all of the time and not only were they not grateful they seemed to resent the fact that she had her own money and her life was successful - till this guy showed up. They laughed at her and made fun of her getting married, and her daughter outright resented the fact that her mother would now be spending money on herself and this man and NOT spending it on her (I'm not speculating her daughter SAID this point blank.) Its no wonder she eventually married this guy. All of the people in her life treated her like crap, what was one more? Really sad.
