Bridge walk and sad times

Poppy and I go on a bridge walk that we have wanted to do but ends up a fail! Ha! Then all the social distancing starts with the virus and schools close etc. I have a meltdown after a shopping trip. Good times!!!

I was diagnosed in 2016 with Fibromyalgia and M.E and had to leave my job which led to me starting this You Tube channel to help others in a similar situation. This was filmed a couple of weeks ago just as the social isolation was starting for the virus. We went on a bridge walk which turned out to be a bit of a fail! I had a complete meltdown after shopping, how are you coping with getting your food shopping?

You cried, and i cried with you because i too am really struggling with all delivery slots filled. 😞 Love Poppy's positioning of the bear 😂😂😂 My eldest is in same situation as Poppy with uncertain future due to the GCSE's being cancelled and it is hard as a parent as we can't fix things for them. Hope you all stay well and safe, try keeping your chin up and remember you have people who are thinking of you all while we go through these uncertain times xx ❤

Ah, thank you! Yes, it's horrible with the exams being cancelled. So uncertain for them and i wish they knew their results before July! I cried when I watched it back to edit as I remember how awful I felt! 😭 Stay safe and well. 😘

We get our shopping on a Saturday and there are still problems getting some items. As he has Diabetes type 2 and hypertension Michael doesn’t want to risk the supermarket but luckily the village butcher is a 5 minute walk and they have other basics like milk and potatoes. I ordered some new slippers on Amazon prime yesterday because all the padding has gone and they are hurting my feet. The expected date for prime items is by 24/4 so I hope they come earlier than that. I have to say it is nice having Michael working from home, other than shopping shortages that is the only real change for me. I hope Holly and Poppy get some clarity over the next steps soon 🤗

I have ordered a few things on Amazon too. Mainly my usual herbal meds. Mark is home now so he will go out shopping but then I worry about what he can pick up while he is out! Need to eat though! We have a local butcher too, might stock up soon!

They were from Amazon but not cheap about £25! It's cute though. She couldn't have a bedside cabinet as not enough room!

*HUGS* The online shopping situation is just horrific. I stayed up to midnight to get a slot, the website crashed, I fought with it until 00:30 then I got up again at 4:30 to try AGAIN as I couldn't sleep worrying about it. I never did get a slot but we've got good stocks in and Hubby can get out. I've shed a lot of tears too & I'm learning some days are better than others. Managing regular symptoms on top of all the stress is just awful. BTW if your girls need any educational resources to help them get ready for their next year's work please DM me on Twitter as I'm helping a lot of students with that right now. We will get through this sweetheart, we all help each other xxx

Ah, I'm sorry you didn't get a slot and have been upset. I am having good and bad days emotionally. Thank you for offer with girls next year. Holly is going to a performing arts college so doesn't need anymore work and Poppy is doing public services at college but no idea what that entails! 😁

@@LordandLordettesThanks! The fact we can all be there for each other means the world and makes this all a lot more bearable. I'm also worried about my dad who's down on the south coast and I agree that worry about loved ones has more of an impact than worry about myself. In happier things, Poppy's probably doing the BTEC Nat in Public Services (Level 3 so A level equivalent). We used to offer that at my old FE college but I didn't have contact with it so don't know much about it. Most BTEC Nats involve keeping portfolios, and a good mix of practical & theoretical. It should give her a ton of options for future careers & give her a taste of some of the services she could go into. 🤗

@@flowersstorms8863 yes, she is more practical so looked like a good course for her. She is interested in the police as a career. It does help to have people to talk to at this time definitely.

I got a text to say not to out for 12 weeks. for people to put things through window ?. end of first week got text to say I can sit in garden or front door step so I am still not aloud to have visitors or go out. a lot of systems for virus are the same as I get for COPD ?. so it is hard to tell if I have got virus or not

Yes that would be hard, but do you get a temperature with copd? If not, that would be a symptom to look out for. We have been in the garden this week but supposed to turn chilly.

yes I get temperature with COPD. all the signs you for virus I get already. it seems to me that it is COPD but hits you all at same time. right at the begging it was people already with COPD that died. has there lungs are weak

I can get it it is just harder to notice symptoms. I have had COPD team phone me to make sure that I am ok. have you been to gov.uk site to see if you are venerable @@LordandLordettes

@@ianturner695 no I haven't, I googled the other day and it said chronic illness are in the at risk but not recieved a letter from gp so might not be.
