agree 100% with everything you said in this video, eloise is completely valid in her feelings towards this situation and the hypocrisy with fans is so so evident!

I think the line works 1. Anthony being the drama king he is, is getting worked up similarly to how he did with Simon and Daphne which Benedict is making fun of him for and is trying to lighten the mood. 2. I think it's also because if word got out about Colin taking her before marriage it would change everything in the matter of social perception while adding yet a 3rd or 4th scandal to the family. and seeing as he was recently 1 part of a 3 person scandal I think he just wants this whole situation to be scandal-free..

colin finds out they still have the wedding and in the end, he is proud of her and tells everyone he is that she is the best in every way a full-on love declaration to everyone, that's the book anyway

Facts I feel like Eloise has been respectful

While Eloise is right that Pen needs to tell the truth, even if i understand Pen's fears of losing his love, i think Eloise shouldn't do that at the engagement party, for Colin. If she wants to tell, just tell Colin, but doing that scene at the engagement party rubs me wrong because it doesn't protect her brother at all. Just take him aside and tell him if you want to tell, but don't try and make a humiliation that will be bad for him in public for personal satisfaction. And the Marina analogy i don't like to use because of the false equivalence of the weight of what's being hidden, another men's children and her not loving and using him x her being LW. But again, i do think Eloise is right about wanting the truth. Colin deserves the truth. I doubt it will happen that way, though. I think the line between Anthony and Benedict works well because it's simply a joke and Anthony, regardless of being Penelope or not he would be checking if Colin behaved not properly with a lady.

I agree with you about the costuming and makeup changes. Rewatching the show I realized it’s always been more glamorous than original regency fashion which is of course the point but this season feels different for some reason, and with all this extra things like crazy hair, makeup, and nails 💅🏻 I just can’t stand it, it makes me worried that the show is edging to far towards modern style

My predictions for the last four episodes: Episode will see the Bridgertons embrace Penelope and Eloise putting on the thumb screws. Anthony and Kate return. I believe the “duel” line is merely a joke calling back to Daphne’s story. The brothers will be mildly confused about the sudden decision, but ultimately supportive. Penelope will have the dream conversation with her mother and after the ball where Eloise tries to pressure her decide to give up on LW. Im guessing that they might keep the fainting spell from the book to prevent the reveal. LW declares her retirement at the end of the episode. Episode 6: the Queen is not amused about the sudden end of LW and makes some kind of public declaration that she wants her found. Penelope and Colin get married, and are quite happy, though Eloise is still sceptical. They move into their own home and enjoy their honeymoon. At a ball Cressida declares herself to be LW. The Queen is sceptical. Penelope is enraged and decides to pick up her pen one more time. Colin discovers her. Episode 7: Colin sees everything clearly, he might have had suspicions before. He is angry, but more importantly he is concerned for her wellbeing. They fight. One or more of the Bridgertons will talk him down, my money is on Kate and Anthony, but I’d love it to be Eloise. He returns to his wife before she can publish her newsletter about Cressida’s scheme and convinces her to go a different route. They decide to confide in Lady Danbury to help them get on the good side of the Queen. Episode 8: They confess to the Queen. Things look dire, but turn out fine. The Queen takes it upon herself to introduce LW to the ton herself. For the big night a nervous Penelope wears a red lip to symbolise her stepping out of the shadows and taking her place in society. Penelope finds that she is pregnant with the son her mother desperately wanted from her older daughters.

I kind of hope they don't reveal her bc i love whistledown as a plot piece but at the same time I think doing so would be a nice little wrap up of queen charlottes story bc if they stick to one historical thing about her, she technically passes in 1818 which is like 2 years post this season (i think) so I think her having one last big hurrah through revealing whistledown would be neat

That is the ring Anthony gave Edwina. Kate does not wear the ring. In the show you can see she’s wearing bangles. From what I understand, the bangles are commonly worn in Indian culture instead of a wedding ring (please don’t quote me, that’s just what I read). So, Penelope would get the ring, as Colin is the next brother to get engaged.

In regards to the Queen pointing at someone, I think she might be pointing at Penelope to accuse her of being Lady Whistledown and then ordering for her arrest maybe.

I think that the queen will be asking everyone to help, and then Cressida claims it.

Maybe because of my work and how i see some art directors/make up/director work together, i think the color shift is a visual representation of the Featherington side of Penelope and the POV shift, between Bridgertons/Featheringtons, particularly her Lady Whistledown side as well, so it makes sense to me the make up and color changes.

Still salty about seeing the wedding dress in the trailer 💒 👰🏼 I hope the wedding 💍 is a happy one 😁 Yeah episode 7 is joining hands so i think wedding 💒 The butterfly 🦋 ball 🤷🏾‍♀️ The makeup was OD this season 😭 i don't like rhe lipstick 💄 😭 either For some reason i think the queen will name Pen the emerald or whatever 😅 🤌🏾🪭🎻💎🐝✌🏾
