We talk about Alden viberg allen Edmonds. What i just saw may be at par or supercedes the above Just looking at the high quality and finish given by our wonderful craftsmen and equally advance machineries complimenting them. So proud of the sort of quality we as indians can deliver. Keep up the good work. Waiting for cordovan cap toe boots soon in your catalogue (wishfull thinking) Im already in that queue.
Being a shoemaker in india is tough where many people don't mind the quality of shoes they just buy them wear them and throw them after 2-3 yrs may God help you succeed further
You guys need to do more marketing. Most people in India who would be interested in your shoes are not even aware of the brand and how it's different from th cheap stuff available in malls at 1-2 k. Awareness about high quality is important, so pls get your message out.
In fact I myself came to know of Bridlen from the Shoegazing blog, quite accidentally when browsing the net. But haven't seen any marketing materials other than the Facebook page. Wish you all the best !
Hi Arindam, thank you for your valuable thoughts. We are gradually building our brand presence and hope to reach more people over time. It is always helpful when discerning customers spread the word.
Saw you guys on Elegant Oxford. Would love to buy the Burgundy shoe. How does one pick correct size and navigate between Indian / UK / USA size. Flat feet + E ( wide width ). I want to buy two pair +/- size to get correct fitting shoe, but your return policy has some of the toughest terms. Congratulations on making such beautiful products.
Hi Pranay, we can connect with you to understand your feet profile and suggest the right size and last for you. Based on a fitting consultation we would be able to guide you towards the right fit and make a pair for you.
My motherinlaw was a shoe leather cutter for 45 years. She can look at a huge pelt of hide and tell you how many right and left foot shoes it can come out from it.. Sas shoes was where she worked..One yr.for Christmas the owner gave 1,000 USd for every year worked per employee..
Hi bridlen! I'm interested in buying a pair of Melbourne founder's collection burgundy shoes but I'm hesitant due to the risk of getting a bad size-fit. Is there anyway to decrease those chances or return a pair of shoes for another size?
Hi William, that's great to know. Please drop us an email on shoemaker@bridlen.com and we will get in touch with you for a Fitting consultation with our team. This will help understand your size and fit, based on our lasts and the most suitable options for you.
I bought a pair of the Melbourne series. They look brilliant on paper; slim bevelled waist, Adelaide, 8 stitches per inch, leather stacked heel, etc. However, in practice, the production fell way short of expectations and, most importantly, short of the reviewed pairs available on RU-vid and Instagram. What I received is CLEARLY not a quality manufacture; the two shoes are very different, the last shape is chunky and raw, the toes of one of the shoes go quite further than the tip of the sole, there is literally no arch support with lots of excess leather, the sole is poorly shaped with the middle of the waist being visibly lower than other parts of the shoe. For a standard width, they are awfully narrow and quite uncomfortable to break into. The design does NOT match the execution. All that said, the leather quality is great and they look lovely to an untrained eye, especially if shined well. At this price range you cannot expect miracles but buyer beware that their website and the pairs they send to reviewers will not necessarily match what you receive. Cheers
Hi Luka, thanks for your comment. If you have sizing or fitting issues, you can reach out to us by email as we are already in touch with you regarding the order. We will ensure you have a pair that fits you well and you are able to wear them comfortably. We don't make pairs specially for reviewers. The same standard of shoe made for clients is what goes out to a review. Our clients who have seen reviews and bought a shoe are happy with what they receive. We are sorry to hear your experience was otherwise. Happy to see how we can address your perception of the shoe and brand.
