Greetings from Germany. Just bought me my dream car a Volvo P1800S 1969 some weeks ago and you are so right. This is and will be the most beautiful car I have ever seen and drove. This is THE CAR. All the best for your Volvo Collection and for you. You are a really Volvo ambassador.
I had a 1966 P1800 and my best friend had a supped up 1967 MGB. We left California going to Washington St. on I 5 we had the peddle to the medal running neck and neck until I put it in overdrive and walked away. Best car I ever owned.
Wow,! For an old owner of 6 Volvos: 123 GT 66, P1800 67 (accident), P1800 68, 142 GT 70, 1800 ES 72 and 740 GLE 2007, I can assure you that your video pumped the beat of my heart. In the 70's, my nickname was Templar in the Volvo garage. The only souvenir that I have is as "foto" with my 1800 ES in 76. Excuse my english mustard writting.
Great fan of Amazon, had 9 between 1975 and 2009, sold my last 3 in 2009 when i moved to NZ. Sadly never had a P1800 but had a 164 and 144 at some time. Greatest enginecever built and Sweden can supply every imaginable part for any of their earlier cars, even roof and door liners. I'm so jealous, man!
Looks like you're doing a great job of preserving these Volvos, Shane; A great collection of restored and original cars., too! Enthusiasts like you, not only contribute to Bring A Trailer- but inspire all car nuts .
