Hey, they didn't play this song at the funeral, but "You Raise Me Up" which Jan Werner also sing. I was a good friend of Jan Werner so I was at the funeral.

Let me break your heart a little more. Jan struggled mentaly most of his life. He was gay, and had a really hard time living freely. So even though he was this amazing singer (we like to say "he was too greate for norway") he never really "lived". So playing this in his funeral "let him live" hit's different.. 😢 Btw, he has more greate preformenses. He is probably best known for his verson of "Air" that he wrote the lyrics for.

Thnx for reacting to this, but please it cant be so difficult to pronounce his name. Its not Jan Wernon. It clearly says Jan Werner on the cover and Werner is not that difficult to pronounce i guess.

Well, I'm not reading his name, I'm reading the pronunciation someone wrote in order to correct me when I previously read his name as it's spelt. "Ver-non" with the first e sounding like a in "bad".

There are a lot of great singers in Norway and I dont think Angelina consider herself Norwegian anymore. She didnt acknowledge our national day to send a message home even though she was very active posting videos of herself on insta. She never talks about Norway, and seems like she unfortunately has been swallowed by the the superficial Hollywood.

@@In_my_own_mind Don't be weird, she just did an interview in norwegian on live tv in Norway. Talked about concerts coming in Norway and stuff. She also said that she moved to LA because of Republic Records. She said that Norway has a special place in her heart.
