Just had the 10k service on my pursuit. Been a great bike so far. Sadly it won't be long before it has to go intro hibernation for the winter
@AnywhereRider
@AnywhereRider 10 месяцев назад
Good to hear that. Owners seem to really enjoy them. Nothing mechanical is without issues but for all the tech, not too many or so I hear. As for winter, I try to ignore that as much as I possibly can ;)
@ChadGrimes

@AnywhereRider I have had a few smalle issues, dead kickstand sensor and the gasket on the fuel tank was creating suction and I couldn't open the gas cap without leverage but they fixed both easily. My bike was a launch pre-order so I expected some issues when they are under pressure to churn them out
@AnywhereRider

You have just bought an incredible bike and a daily head scratcher. Beauty or brawn? Good luck with such problems :). And congratulations on the new bike.

Beauty or Brawn, yes! That’s it. I’ve been trying to get my head around that. And that it looks big and heavy and yet it feels like a performance bike. And thank you!

Great video…fortunately in FL I don’t need the heated pants or jacket, but the altitudes and temps you rode through were impressive.

Nice new motorcycle! I recently bought a new one too, but decided to check out an Adventure bike for once in my life - BMW 750 GS. Loving it so far but it would need a few mods to ride cross country like you do. It’s great for the North Ga, Tenn and NC mount sims though. Keep up the good content. I really like the style and the way you do your videos. Very entertaining and the scenery is awesome. Ride safe!
@AnywhereRider

Thank you! I could definitely be converted (in part--to an ADV style) those adventures aren’t always limited to the road! I rode lots of bikes in Daytona this week. One was the Tiger 1200 GT Pro. Nice bike. I’m just not use to the height and positioning yet. But I’ll learn! --I’ll be watching your content to see how it goes. You ride safe as well! Hopefully we’ll meet at some point

@@AnywhereRider I’ve ridden touring/cruiser motorcycles for the last 15 years and just wanted to try something different. You would get used to the higher seat height and riding position quickly. These bikes are so light you don’t need a really low seat height and the riding position is comfortable. Your Pursuit or Springfield are probably better for going cross country, but for day rides and shorter trips my BMW F750 GS is a blast to ride. It’s a bit smaller and less expensive than the Tiger 1200 you rode at Daytona but does not lack in technology or safety features. Your Pursuit looks like a great bike too and what a blast to pick it up and immediately take off across the country!

@GARamblinMan I know that many ride adventure bikes across the country too. I’d be smarter to look at a smaller cc like you if a second or third bike. They don’t all need to be touring capable of course. An ADV would be great for my trips up to WV though. Many more options on roads there. I’ll have to try out one of the BMW adventures. They’ve lead that market for years so they probably have it dialed in pretty well

I rode through Colorado Springs on my way back from California to central Illinois. Stopped at Pikes Peak Indian for a service. The. It was Colorado 24 to I70 to Topeka and then US 36 across the Mississippi. Loved riding in Colorado and love my pursuit

CA to IL sounds like an awesome ride. Normally I’d have followed a more northern route through Kansas. But winter was descending. There’s nothing like wide open territory with many miles ahead! Do you like to video any of your travels?
@HarrisBinUAE
@HarrisBinUAE 4 месяца назад
I have a RU-vid channel ready to go but no video for it. You can find some shorts on it and one very short video where I was experimenting with something more then an Instagram reel or a short. This summer I’m going to seriously film my rides. I’m doing Champaign to Durango again and then coming home through WY and SD. In late July a friend is flying in and we’re doing 16 days from central IL through the adirondacks in NY and then Vermont, NH, PA, WV, TN, NC and IN. We’re going to ride the tail of the dragon and cherohala skyway. Perhaps you’d like to meet up and say hello in real life?

Thanks! I can only imagine! It’s very capable as it is. But I do notice the difference between the low end torque of the Thunderstroke versus the Power Plus. I’m still getting use to it for now. What cams did you use?

@@AnywhereRider I’ve only installed the Indian stage two on the 108’s which is pretty solid if you have a ‘22 or older 108 get the Lloyd’s tune that makes the throttle response much better and good bang for your buck
