I remember being around patients who were in comas. Whenever I would walk in their room I would chat about the date weather anything new going on. I noticed other nurses would act like he wasn't there, and put soaps on his TV. I would go in and say, let's turn this crap off for you. One day I noticed he was following me around the room with his eyes, he even smiled. I went quickly to the nurses station and told the Neurologist, he was upset that nobody else noticed this change. Many have woke up and told me, I remember you talking to me. It gave me hope. Wow!
Wow that's a great story you ripped off the real coma patient who wrote a book about being conscious despite everyone assuming he wasn't. He wrote a book called Ghost Boy. Jesus people will do anything for attention on here
My brother in law is in vegetative coma since 10 months after hemorrhage. Kindly do pray for all of those who are suffering different pains in different form in life.
Never give up hope.. my Mother is 6 months into this terrible nightmare. She has a severe haemorrhage (Basal Ganglia bleed).. almost all the Doctors were giving her max 14 days. She spent 1 month in the ICU, and has been at the ward for past 5 months. With persistent, intensive therapy, family motivation.. she's been making some progress (she can partially move her right hand and its fingers on command.. also can partially move her right feet fingers. We're still hoping to get her off Tracheostomy and able to clean her airway herself as well as eating food herself. Here's hoping she continues making progress. @@jayalalwani7344 just constant unending motivation.. even though she initially showed no response. Physical Therapy, mostly passive exercises to keep the joints flexible and maintain muscle tone.
@@siva7777 sorry to know about your wife's condition. My mother got discharged from hospital after almost 1 year. Currently she's at home.. still mostly bedridden but showing good response and improving steadily (albeit slowly)
My aunt was in a coma after a car accident. She is paralyzed on the right side of her body but gets around good. Speaks well, drives, has 7 children. She's a walking miracle. You'd never know until you saw her walking and wonder why she has a limp.
My grandfather was in a coma and the medical staff urged my mother to pull the plug and we said no. We prayed for a miracle. We visited and would talk to him and one day he woke up. 🙏

Absolutely Amazing. Doctor is very intelligent and handsome. I am a very religious man, believe in faith and prayers but at the same time believing in miracle of science too.
Unfortunately, someone I know, her family gave up. The doctors said she's brain dead. I told her family to request copy of the brain scan. Let's see what lobes have activity and go from there. They never produced the scan. The young lady responds to her family, she sheds tears when they visit her and she tries to speak to them. They said they don't want her to suffer anymore so they pulled the plug this morning. 💔
I'm going through the same with my mother, the hospital keeps saying the copy won't do much for us because we won't understand it. They kept giving us the pull the plug talk. We didn't, she's now at home being cared for. She's in stage VS sometimes signs of MCS

It's beautiful when the healthier doesn't lose hope for those in a coma. I wasn't expected to ever count to ten when I ten. I earned a workbook from Dr. of education for learning to count to 100.

Is there any information on contacting this doctor or facility? My brother is in a coma now and no one will help us. We go back to court in 5 days and are trying to reach someone who will not give up on him. He has done everything they told us that was impossible for 57 days now. Please help if possible
