At about 4:20, you mention using the e collar on the ball pickup, creating pressure to build intensity, can you explain a bit more how that works? When is the pressure applied, and when is it released? Trying to understand what specific behavior you’re building or intensifying. Thank you for sharing these “real life” uncut videos - they are so much more valuable than the curated 20 second clips!
This dog reminds me so much of my female aways over focused on her surroundings, that seems to be a theme in czech line females, great intensity, handler forgiving but super independent minded dogs. She could be a superstar but my bet is this ones going to test ya Haz.
How does she know why she was corrected at the start? maybe i have a low IQ, but i would have thought there are better ways to create motivation for her to want to work for you.
That correction is whack... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for context because it happens so early in the video... But he fails miserably to explain it with nothing other than some macho BS about she wasn't watching me, who's being lazy?... He got home and at least had the good sense to add a disclaimer but honestly that should not have been posted.
How do you utilize the e collar in protection work/training? I’m not interested in doing any protection work, but I am always interested in learning about differrent methodology and training tools regardless of whether or not it’s applicable to my own use. Clearly it looks like there is a huge difference in the methods involving the collar and protection work, vs what seems to be most commonly explained re: training the pet dog and their owner. Just thought it would be a cool vid to watch
I suppose if you dont have the mind to understand the subject methodology then anything would be your dream case study. meanwhile hes actually working his dogs, not just doing basic pet owner aversion/avoidance incoherency (i dont e-collar because i personally dont have a reason to). This guys youtubes discussions and vids helped me alot with training and playing in a constructive and meaningful way with my Malinois{Somekind of workline sheppard)/Huntaway/AmStaff mongrel. She has the same work drive as many malinois/belgians with the sheppard ears but colourwise looks just like a huntaway but on a slightly amstaff body short tan/black. its what you take from it and how you use it, you can take the best advice but implement it in the wrong way and have the dog taking it out on you instead of having a good training session inline with that dogs needs, so in the future it an have those interactions without any device intermediation. Youve already lost if you think canines or any animal lacks tangible intelligence.
How can you not say this dog is enjoying this interaction? Is it for every dog of course not but for those that are the reality is they are too much for many people so in this field at least they are allowed the lives they are suited for and can have a full life unlike the alternative that is a shelter or worse.

@@LimitlessJayson Its not. Clearly to me who has been raised with these dogs and training them for many years, both Belgium and German. And has owned them. And actually live where they are bred and commen. Its so obvious to me because first I live here and second I've been working and living with them all my life. This is not a German shepherd. For sure not pure bred. Just look up the differences. Also Belgium has more than 1 shepherd. People always think Malinois, but thats just the place in Belgium where they came from. So variety is there a lot. But this one is not pure German. We also have Dutch shepherds, Tervuurense shepherds, old and new Dutch sherpherds. I'd like to see if you can name and spot every one of them with pictures only without a name 😉
@@DisforDogs1 My friend I've been watching this channel for quite a long time. I remember when Bang was much younger. This is a German Shepherd. I'm well aware of the different types of Shepherds, just as you say you are. But none of that counteracts the fact that this is in fact a German Shepherd dog.
