Meet our 8 week old cocker spaniel puppy Buzz. This is a snap shot of the day we brought him home for the first time. He is a delightful puppy and settling in well. He is a blue roan boy.
I lost my cocker 2 years ago.Her name was Duna. She jumped and played till the last day.She survived cancer when she was 6 years old. But when she was 14 she got sick in the weekend and on monday i knew i would never see her back when going to the VET. Couldnt watch her suffer more and decided to lay her down. I remember it beiing the worst day of my life and one of the most painfull decisions to ever make. Losing my best friend. I can still see and feel her when i saw her for the last time. I couldnt replace her but the emptyness in my heart could only be replaced by another cocker. SO i stumbled upon another puppy and had to take her home. Now shes 1 year old. playfull , crazy and loving. cockers are so special once you fall in love with them.
He looks exactly like ours did. Like, exactly. Our Charley died of old age a few years ago. We brought him home as a puppy, I was just four years old. 15 years he was a big part and companion for my life. Seeing this video, reminds me of the pictures we have of him as a puppy and it brings so much tears to me, its like seeing him again! The same ear length, the same black dot on his butt and back and same look. I miss him. You are so lucky to have found him! A dog is the best companion and best friend a human could ask for. Lovely video!
My cocker spaniel died a few months ago & i still miss her & i will miss her forever. Watching this video made me so happy, it reminded me of the beautiful times I've spend with my dog...
Anyone thinking about getting a cocker, but unsure if you want one, do it. trust me. We had a fawn one named Daisy. She passed while saving my father from a Taipan recently, and she's missed terribly. These dogs are amazing, very brave and sweet and you'll fall in love with them more and more each day, and they'll love you more then you'd ever expect.
Sorry bout late replies! Congrats on those who got/are getting their babies! As an update, I have a Sprocker Spaniel(Cockerspaniel x English Springer Spaniel) puppy right now, because I just couldn't bring myself to get another Cocker just yet. I miss my Daisy too much, so I got a slightly bigger spaniel to fill the void so I don't compare her to Dai. Dai was 7, she was chubby but short, and Lilly is 5 months old but shes almost taller than Daisy was, and fits into her hand-me-down winter jumper. Shes alot different then Daisy. Daisy was a boof, but she was so gentle and sweet, whereas Lilly is all rough and playful. Shes sweet, but sometimes I wish she had less energy. Lilly being around helps alot, but I miss Daisy every day. I can barely talk or think about or look at pictures of her without bawling. Shes all I can think about half the time, and I know I won't ever have another like her, but that makes me even more glad that I got to have her in the first place, no matter how painful losing her is.
Same here...but mine was more funny whenever i remember it. The moment i placed Brielle on the floor (on the carpet specifically)she peed and pooped in a matter of miliseconds😂then my nightmare of my poor carpet becoming her toilet begun😂but she learned very quick to do her business outside. She was so quick and unpredictable though. One moment she was playing and chewing and the next second she had peed a tiny lake while staring deep in my eyes. She is such a funny but quiet dog. I love her more than anything
MissB when my cocker was brought home, the grandkids on the swings, he put his paws on the swing and walked back and forth...he thought he was one of the kids.... I thank you Willy for a million laughs in your 13 years with us
My Carli died last week and I miss her so much. She was 16 and an American cocker with one blue eye and one brown eye. This warmed my heart so much. Thank you. 💝
Yes ,i also got my 3 month d English Cocker Spaniel today and she's a cuddly, disasterous, perfect little lady, hope ill be able to give her a happy life
The most beautiful loving faithful friends ever.I have had the privilege of having 4female cockers and one was very much like the one in the video.Such wonderful memories, they show humans such unconditional love we can learn such a lot from our four legged friends.Thankyou for sharing your happiness with like minded people.
My little Lulu is half cavalier king Charles and cocker spaniel. She is 3 years young and still cracks me up with her character. She is absolutely the love of my life!
The music was a refreshing change from the rubbish generic noise in other videos and said something about your family and the feelings you have for this beautiful creature. You can see the love you have for him/her? I have a cocker spaniel but only in my dreams, I think she has not been born yet but I feel she will appear, I am looking for my dream cocker spaniel still and she will arrive when the time is right. This video made me even more sure it is a cocker spaniel I want. Thank you.
Wow just noticed his tail! When we got our 'Skippy' when i was a kid, I'll never forget my dad grabbing him (saving his life), by his Tiny Stubby tail before he almost fell out the window of our moving truck. I always figured they had stubs for tails. Why are they cut off anyway?
i have watched this video over and over again because this wee pup is the image of my wee Darsey that passed away last may. I shed tears every time that I see this. What a dog she was. I used to see that no matter what I had bought, I was fed up with it after a few weeks, but I was never ever fed up with Darsey. l loved her every day that I had her. So sad to have to bury your pet. Please look after your we cocker!!!
What a great video! Beautiful edit! My family have a springer spaniel, aged 3. I am currently travelling and I miss my spaniel so much! Spaniels really are amazing! Thanks for sharing!
This video is so great!!! One day in June will be my puppy day... Can't wait for bringing my cocker baby home! Until that happened, I'll keep watching this video... Cheers from Serbia!!! ♥
i miss my cocker spaniel he lives with my parents, hes called mungo he hasnt got big spots except for on his head but on his body it looks like someone has splashed black paint on a canvas, unbelievably spotty. i love it when they sniff around your neck
I got a field bred English cocker in 2007 his parents came from England. I hunted ptarmigan and grouse with him in Alaska and pheasants and quail in the lower 48. He died a few years ago. He was an AKC master hunter and ,y best friend. I miss him sooo much.
Wonderful breed.. I can't forget the day where I saw mine like this and got him home. These dogs are too affectionate, just Hurted badly while he died.
Mine is 3 months now. Harness is much better for them, plus letting him wear the leash following me by himself taught him how to walk on the leash quick. Hes my 4th dog over the decades. Hope he lives a very long happy life. The vet said hes a completely healthy handsome young man. Hes at the chewing phase, plus 0 control over his bladder, I still love him!
Great video. My mother has a golden english cocker spaniel called Henry. We call him "Bubba" Henry after the golfer Bubba Watson. We got him from a rescue centre. Changed our lives.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video, it really moved my heart. Your family now has a beautiful new addition and she has most definitely come to a wonderful loving family. Blessings from Los Angles California. P.S. Please post a new video of your new family member and her name. Cheers ! 🐾😊
