I have a question. You guys don’t like choice huh? Wawa isn’t suppose to be Buc-cee’s. There is no comparison lol Usually,Having a lot of choice isnt bad. You just get what you like and what you prefer.

Wawa is an everyday, 24 hour, local convenience store. Buc-cee’s is a highway stop for long road trips.

No competition to Buc-ee's. I don't know how your Subways are but here in the states you can ask for more lettuce, tomato, etc. The last time I went the woman in there was trying to skimp and I was like, "you can put more" because nobody else in that location skimps, lol.

@@nickjreacts it can't hurt especially since the point is to have a more veggies than meat...of course we always add extra meat and really load it up on the veg to have an even balance, lol.

@@nickjreacts I'm not sure I've ever seen one but if anyone has it Food Wars does. They've done comparison's with McDonald's, Burger King, Domino's and a few others which are hilarious.

We have a gas station just like that here in North Carolina called Sheetz.

They are very similar and Sheetz is also based in PA. The sandwiches are better at Wawa though.

This gas station only had about 8 pumps. That is very small for the U.S.

I’ve been to Wawa’s back in the early 2000’s it was a little corner shop back then in downtown Philly it’s bigger now and they do gas now too.

They were at a Wawa in New Jersey & New Jersey law you’re not allowed to pump your own gas. I’m in Philly & Wawa’s are everywhere but it’s just a quick stop to get ⛽️ & maybe a drink or hoagie. Neighborhood store.

Bagels outside of New York and New Jersey are subpar. It's probably from a bread purveyor and not a bagel bakery

Wawa is not gas station food. It's a sandwich shop that may also sell gas.

We don't put salad on sandwiches. It's lettuce, tomato and sometimes onion, while this is an Italian hero it will come with a dressing we do not refer to it as salad.

Brits refer to anything with lettuce in it as a salad. And all vegetables are known as "veg".

Never been to WaWa. I heard about them. Gas station food here is exactly like petrol station food in the UK. Food meant to stay on roller stations all day to heat up. I have had roller tamales at some places & those are good. Sometimes the hot dogs are good. If you are lucky you will run across a WaWa. A cut above the normal gas station. But if you are really lucky the will be a Buc-ee's billboard saying they are close. In order Buc-ee's, truck stop/travel centers, then places like WaWa (or Wally's). Is what I hear about WaWa.

I've been to Wawa, its names after an Indian tr8be is what I've been told. I found their screen easy to use, but If you're new to the system it may take a minute more to get through

It's this location they are at...I've never had an issue with any of the offerings .at.the ones in New Jersey. We are.fussy in New Jersey,.we have a food standard. Buccees are not in the north.

You really can't compare Wawa to Buc-ees... Wawa is a large northeastern chain of convenience stores some with gas pumps attached, but in Philly they had ones that were just stores in the city with no gas. The sandwiches there are good by convenience store standards, but it isn't impressive for a sandwich in general. We like Wawa on road trips because we can go in and get a sandwich or snack (I love their apple slices and caramel dip or peanut butter) when other places are closed or we don't want to eat fast food. They don't really have their own branded stuff, but they have decent drip coffee that is cheap, and because they are a PA based company they do carry a lot of PA specialties like Turkey Hill iced tea, Utz chips and Tastykake.

That's a weird experience you had at Subway, I have never seen them do anything but overload the subs with lettuce.

last time I went to a subway I only went because they sent me a coupon which was a 2 for 1. Then it turned out the coupon was expired so I just left because its not worth paying full price for. As they were making the sandwiches, I heard the owner talking to the employees about how they had to put less cheese on the sandwiches lol. Never went back, only delis now.
