Growing up i was always fascinated about USA from food to the culture with it being so common on our tv screens! so on this channel im on a journey to learn everything about the USA
feel free to comment on any videos if you have anything you would like me to do a reaction video on.
I went to this place and the line was out the door, so me and my girlfriend just walked across the street to a random bar and ordered a Philly cheesesteak with no wait and it was delicious
You people who hate taxes should see society without taxes and see if you still think that. Then we'd have to hear you b-tching about how terrible everything is. Taxes go towards all kinds of things that make life more comfortable for all of us. Overtaxing or taxing without representation is a totally different thing. Some people are okay with it as long as they aren't treated as 2nd class citizens, get the same rights, and it's used to actually make society better. Being anti-tax just on it's face is simple-minded and short-sighted.
It is important to remember that although it seems like the American colonies were selfish in not repaying debts, that most of the colony's defenses were conducted by local militia and provincial commanders. Also the British defended the colonies purely for economic interest and national prestige, not out of any desire to defend their country men as many didn't see the colonists in the same light as they would main isle Brits.
As someone else has pointed out in a previous comment, tornadoes aren't rated based on their size. The EF (Enhanced Fujita) scale is rated based on both wind speeds and how much damaged is caused (or how much the tornado 'eats' as others might put it). So, you could have a small stove pipe tornado that's rated an EF5 because it went through a highly populated area, causing millions of dollars in damage and several fatalities/injuries, or a massive tornado (like the mentioned 2013 El Reno tornado), that was even a multivortex tornado, yet be rated only EF3 because it remained in the countryside causing very little damage (even though that damage could still be horrific) and only a few, if any, fatalities/injuries. Those are just two examples, of course, but they get the general idea across.
Hello, my friend. I'd love to be able to see your face and expressions as you react to things! Maybe reconsider the hat and/or raise the monitor you're watching. Keep up the good work! 👍
The UK gets around 30 tornadoes per year, most of them occur in central England. The US gets around 1200 per year, most of them occur between the Rocky Mountains and Appalachian Mountains.
Nick, for further information about the last video, type this into Google; photos of Clarence "Clem" Schultz house before and after the April 9, 2015 Fairdale, Illinois EF-4 tornado. Thanks for your videos and view points.
You might be interested in Europes Tornado Alleys done by Swegel Studios. Tornadoes can throw 16 Wheelers (Big Lories). Little tornadoes inside a bigger tornado is called a multivortex tornado. Tornadoes are rated by the damage they do, so even a stronger tornado if it goes over open countryside and does very little damage it will be rated lower than a smaller lower strength tornado that goes through the middle of town. The strongest tornado, an actual monster (El Reno) did not go into populated areas so did very little damage but wind speeds and size make it one of the strongest on record yet it was rated an EF3.
@@nickjreacts Yes, the El Reno was 2.6 miles wide largest on record and had some of the fastest wind speeds recorded at 296 mph and yet EF3, had it gone through Oklahoma City where it was headed it probably would have been EF5 and one of the worst in every way on record. As it was it killed 4 chasers...3 very experienced storm chasers, the last ones anyone would have suspected to get caught In one.
@nickjreacts They're terrifying. I live in Nebraska (tornado alley), and in the last two months my city has had 3 or 4 tornadoes touchdown in town and on the outskirts of town. We've also had the tornado sirens go off multiple times this year because of tornado warnings.
These are terrifying videos. Tornadoes are fascinating and frightening as all get out. Please keep the tornado reactions coming if you can, the mystery and intensity that surrounds them is amazing. 👏
An EF3 or EF4 can cause damage like the blitz. An EF5 can cause damage like Hiroshima. None of these people should have been above ground in these situations. The all got lucky, except for the last guy, who sadly lost his wife as his house was destroyed. The first guy in particular did EVERYTHING wrong and seems to have had no idea how close he came to winning a Darwin Award. You have good tornado instincts. Those are power flashes from infrastructure. You are also correct that a vehicle is the worst place to be in a tornado. That guy should have been driving away to look for a solid structure (with a basement if possible). If you had no other options, it would be safer to get out of your car and try to find a ditch to lay flat in. As the previous comment I read said, if it's "standing still", it's coming right at you. There are some great educational videos about tornadoes on Swegle Studios channel, and others seem to have been able to react to his content without issue.
Thank you for the comment! I have 2 reaction videos on Swegle Studios it’s a really cool channel and 1 video that I haven’t finished editing yet… but that is scary if it don’t look like it’s moving then it’s coming straight at you!
NIck in that last tornado video #1 Ef - 4 Illinois.. the man filming was at the top of his house filming the tornado coming directly toward his house! His wife was taking shelter inside the house. Turned out sadly that the man's wife died from this tornado and the man suffered severe spinal cord injuries. The film was recovered in the house wreckage. It is said that if the tornado looks like it is standing still or not moving, it means IT IS COMING RIGHT IN YOUR DIRECTION!
@@Ameslan1 it could also be stationary (unlikely) or moving away from you, but its best to assume its moving toward you to take more safety measures in case it is
Benjamin Franklin looking the way he did, was a bit of a ladie's man. He also slept with the Queen of France. He also was a brilliant man from a humble begining that became Continental Congress/United States first foreign diplomat.
There's a siren 3 blocks from my house. There's one a block from my work downtown, and there are several sirens there, which echo between the buildings. Every 1st Wednesday of the month at 1 PM they test them. 1 minute of alert. 1 minute of silence. 1 minute of attack. Now when they go off because of storms, that's a couple few times in the summer. I (and most people know) usually go outside, look at the sky. But, there was one time the siren went off and I felt sick to my stomach and just weird all over. So, I crammed my cat in her carrier and went to the basement. It tuns out an EF0 passed a couple blocks from my house. An EF0 is a weak tornado. A few buildings had minor roof and gutter damage, but it mostly caused chaos with garbage cans, lawn furniture, etc...and a lot of tree damage that led to downed power lines. And yes, the Chicago siren it the coolest/creepiest.
during the American Revolution the people where British Not Americans yet, They where not Americans until After the war, during the war they were considered Rebels.
i live in Pennsylvania and we have had a few tornadoes here and there with long periods in between. Usually pretty tame they generally just rip roofs off of barns. Nothing like the midwest region.

We need to go back a bit. When Brits started coming over here to settle the Royal Family was the Tudors ( Elizabeth 1) and then the Stuarts. Colonies were set up with Royal Charters, some of them and the colonies had their own militias for protection. No British solders came. Then came the English Revolution and the colonies with Royal Charters were null and void and many of the proprietors went from being wealthy to poor powerless and homeless. The New England colonies were a mix of Royal Colonies but they were Puritans and had friends in PRliment and Cromwell himself was a Puritan. British soldiers wereNOT here we had our own military and the important colonies were the islands in the Caribbean and even the fur trade in Canada not the 13 colonies!
I live just outside of Oklahoma City in Oklahoma right in the middle of tornado alley the sirens are tested every Saturday of the year at midday 12:00 am. We can have tornados year round but spring is the most active season for tornados we heard the sirens almost twice a week this spring. We are just used to it. I have personally been in a tornado and seen several others.
I have had pretty severe Lilapsophobia and it really effects my anxiety as I live in tornado alley. I wont go anywhere if there is a chance of storms, to the point if there is a bad storm i'll call into work, and If there are storms predicted overnight I wont sleep a bit because i'll be too anxious that i'll be caught off guard. The town where i grew up in in Oregon was hit by an ef2 then my parents moved us to South Dakota and 10 years later the little village we lived in was destroyed by another ef2, both were very very close to being rated as EF3...I DREAD hearing the sirens go off, even the monthly test causes my anxiety to spike. Needless to say I love the winter months and the snow storms it brings because it also brings with it at least 4 months of lilapsophobia anxiety relief haha
The laundry room you called storage. You can't really put a.wsher and dryer in your kitchen because it creates a haz mat condition so its in another room
