Just saying, if you’ve never held an nfl football before, you don’t understand exactly how hard it is to throw and catch it as a normal human

The last play was remarkable not so much for the quality of the play itself, but rather for the circumstances. It was the final offensive play for the Seattle Seahawks, who were trailing by 3 points at the time. In other words, a touchdown wins the game. Seattle's coach called a passing play in a congested part of the field where the likelihood of an interception was highest. Meanwhile, Seattle had a nigh-unstoppable running back named Marshawn Lynch (nickname: Beast Mode). If they had simply handed Lynch the ball, he would have, in all likelihood, simply powered through and scored. Many consider it to be one of the worst coaching decisions in the history of the game. The best comparison I can think of in Association Football would be leaving Messi on the sideline during a penalty shootout in the final match of the World Cup.

You don't have rugby or NHL players who are 6'5" 275 lbs. or safeties who are 200 lbs. of solid mass who can run 4.3 40's. The combination of mass + speed in football is insane! No other team sport can touch it in regards to the power dynamic and carnage of the hits.

I think the most brutal sport there is Lethwei, you can get knocked out cold and the fight isn't over. They get like a couple minutes to revive you and the fight goes on. Apparently they bite on the guys' ears to wake him up.

I wonder if people who try to compare the sports often overlook the physical nature of football. Before you even get to comparing the 'technical' aspects shouldn't it be determined if the person could even compete? It's not enough to be big/fast/strong...you have to be willing to hit/be hit. The last play at 9:41 would normally be a run of the mill interception if it weren't for the circumstances. This was in the Superbowl. The Seahawks had the ball and if they scored they would have most likely won the game. And M Lynch their running back had been running all over the Patriots the entire game and for some reason the Seahawks decided to throw the ball on the 1 yrd line, and ended up getting the ball taken away. This makes it one of the best intereceptions of all time while at the same time being one of the worst bonehead play calls of all time too.
