Tim did really well it has been so fun to see him in the kitchen and feeling very proud when it works out. Hissy is always pushing us around haha has to be around us all the time.

Mash potato for me is lots of potato with loads of butter, cheese and either Dijon mustard or my favourite horseradish sauce.

Bangers and Mash. Capsaicin are hot peppers here in my part of the US. That's an impressive barbecue, patio and garden! Soooo posh.

Thank you Brian, Tam and Tim! Like many Americans, my only experience with Colman's products is their tins of dry mustard. In my case, even a small container of Colman's mustard lasts a long time since I don't know of many recipes that call for it. As for mashed potatoes, Tam, I think that garlic salt, evaporated milk and butter is a good way to create a tasty batch of mashed potatoes. Nice video!

Yes the Colman's Mustard is popular here too and it was the only products I was familiar with. Love my mustard. Never heard of using evaporated milk before in mash. Thanks

I also do something called rumble de thump potatoes which is potato, carrot, swede and broccoli boiled in salty water as normal and all mashed together, season and add grated cheese. Brown on top and serve with either a casserole of any sort or sausages with onion gravy.

Thanks Brian! I've been loving these Coleman mix videos. I do think this is my favorite one it looks the tastiest to me. Yes those are red bell peppers in America capsaicin is something that we put in arthritis salve and rub on our aching joints. LOL

Capsicum is a scientific word in most countries for a pepper. Capsaicin is for arthritis,. yes.

Capsicums are called Paprika in german. Hot pepper is "Chili" or "Pepperoni". When I was younger I always wondered why people in american movies ordered "Pepperoni Pizza" and there was just Salami on it and no chilies :D

I put butter milk and 1/4 tsp mustard in my mash. That cat is so funny those birds are they your pets or are they wild theyr such beautiful colours. When you first come on with your dishes all I rem is the cats tail and my first thought was was it some type of bird emu size lol

I stopped eating meat two years ago, but this really makes me crave it, it looks so good! I'd leave out the mushrooms though. PS: I put black pepper in my mashed potatoes. I know. I'm weird.

Capsicum is the class, bell, chilli, sweet, jalapeño, birdseye etc arrre the variety they all contain Capsicum which is the chemical giving the peppers their heat - obviously some contain more capsicum than others (in theory they can all be called capsicum)

another way you can do this is , spread the mash over the top of the dish and some grated cheese , and pop back in the oven untill lovely and crispy golden brown , if you like a firmer topping mmmmm

Oh my goodness LOL so many people love their peas Tim just loves them so much but I'm not a fan I think because we were forced to eat so many as a kid. Although I like fresh peas.

It's the difference between "hot peppers" and "sweet peppers", so to speak. Capsicum is a scientific word in most countries. Mashed potatoes are better with cream, but cream is very rich and kind of expensive for the process in the US, I think.

I love fresh shelled peas from the garden but never been a fan of the freezer kind (unless it is in fried rice). My Mum use to put a big pile of frozen peas with our meals growing up Oh the amount of hours I sat at the family dinner table faced with all those hills of peas not permitted to leave the table until they were finished LOL
