Brittany is a private coaching client of mine, we love Brittany!
She is an incredible workhorse, and while she's gained SO much athleticism and speed we've done minimal sprinting training. Why you may ask? Brittany's got some pretty dang sore knees a lot of the time. So, how does one train for speed when knees are a limiting factor?
Here's what we did:
- built full body strength and athleticism
- built stronger supportive muscles for her knees (quads, hamstrings, glutes)
- TONS of glute work
- more glutes 😉
- power walked for cardio in lieu of running
There's always a path forward, and Brittany's carved a solid one out. Always so proud of you Brittany, it's incredible to see these clips back to back!
