This is my newest built, it is a test ride with a smaller battery, only about 200A from this battery. Still a lot of item to complete, but she runs real good for only 200A. The controller can do 400-450A, and the final battery should give a realistic 500A.

How much do you sell the bike for?

I build them for customers. This one was $6700, it was his donor bike. He wanted certain things for controller cooling, and I split the battery for faster charging. I could build one for about $6000, you give me a donor. I have a 2008 KTM 250SX street legal, less than 20 miles on it, for $5500

What are the weights of your CRF250 and YZ250 projects? Where do you find donor chassis? Anything I find with a bad engine, the rest of the bike is in bad shape too.

My YZ250F weighed 221lbs with the 42AH battery. I just replaced that battery with a new 50AH battery, I haven't weighed it yet, I will and get the weight to you. I expect 235lbs. The 2023 Honda weighed 143lbs as a donor ready to go, I expect to come in at about 235-240lbs. The Honda is the owners race bike for last year, he just got a new one. Most other donor bike always need all the parts replaced. Rear suspension rebuild is standard, new plastics are easy. front and rear shocks and forks rebuilt. There is a guy in Houston who sells donor bikes, I can't remember his name, when it comes to me, I will send it to you.

Yes it is P42A's. It will be a 20S12P divide into 2 x 20S6P with separate BMS's to control Charge only. The EM260S controller and me will be the low voltage cutoff. The Controller has Soft Undervoltage set at 65V, and undervoltage at 59V, and I don't like the lack of power below 68-69V

With the standard Moto gearing, we get 58-63MPH. That is 13 x 48-50. Look at my most recent RU-vid on the YZ250F That is everything the same as this one, but only 400A. It does not have water cooling.

You can go as fast as you want just change the gearing, but you will have no low speed power. Who goes 85 MPH on a motocross bike. Max speed at the Chicago Super Motocross was mid 60's MPH . You want speed get a street bike.

ElectroandCompany.com Their systems rock. You plug them in and they work. Wait till I can pour the Amps to it.

I am mounting the cooling system for the controller now. You only need it if you want to run regularly at 400-450A. The motor doesn't need it yet, but maybe China will come out with a watercooled model.
