Brood X Cicada Sounds: A once in every 17 years event! 

We are in the midst of a significant natural phenomenon when, every 17 years, the Brood X cicadas emerge from the earth, inhabit the trees, reproduce, then perish. The "baby" cicadas fall from the trees and burrow underground, not to be seen for another 17 years. The sound in the forest is quite loud at the moment...
