Interesting idea. I don't see why not, but you'd have to make the shape around a form before curing. Once the resin sets, you can't form it by reheating like you can with kydex.
Do you listen to music or podcasts while working in the shop? If not, this activity would feel a lot less tedious if you did! Might even feel like a meditation.
