This film will be in the Criterion collection in the next 20 years. It grows on you, and it seems the director saw into the future more than the audience.
The movie was okay, but this scene is the best part of the movie, just because of how many emotions it brings you. This is one of the saddest scenes that I have ever seen in cinematic history. I have never heard this song before, but after watching this movie, I now keep listening to this incredible song, and always look back on this scene. Brings a tear to my eye, and what a perfect song choice for this scene, as well. The song really fits the scene well, with the emotion it evokes in the tone of the beat in the song, and how the lyrics are sung, as well as what the lyrics mean.
i agreed, buddy. I saw this film on July 2016, but unfortunately I didn't notice too much of this song. Two years later, i saw Orange Is the New Black and heard it in one of its episodes in Season 6. After that, I listen to ''I'm on Fire'' every single day for almost 5 or 6 months. That song is phenomenal. Best of vibes from Lima, Peru!
