Been waiting for the boys to play like men. They finally have done it. I am happy the Leafs found that playoff gear, everyone is hitting, forechecking, making good plays, both teams look tired and a bit worn. This is what I have been craving from this young Leafs team.

In fairness, Nylander was away from game action for 10 days and has looked better each game. He’s played half the series and already is tied for lead in goals with Knies. I get it’s only 2 but it still says something. He’s also the most clutch playoff performer the past 4 years
I would say more than anything it's the play of Knies, he was an absolute monster the entire game, same with McCabe, Benoit, Woll, Domi, and yeah Willy in a situation where nerves can get the best of you, figured out a way to solve Swayman on the breakaway, all created by Knies.
Its very easy to criticize a team when they ar e not wining, But this team is not built for the playoffs and have had game like this all season, well maybe not this bad in shots on goal. The team is lacking many aspects that makes you a serious contender.

He said the same thing last year. He has lost 7 straight games that could have clinched the series. The seven game were 2 games when he was with Dallas 3 last year and 2 this year. And if they lose this year he may never get another job anywhere.
Honestly....Marchand is one of those players....who is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Not sure he should ever have been chosen as captain. He's a drama queen....and that doesn't necessarily equate to good leadership.

If I was Boston i would instruct the arena staff to get in the visitors locker room and re paint it so that the leafs have to deal with the smell of fresh paint. Better do something to annoy them cause their game sure isn't doing it!
The Bruins are in deep trouble! How can you mess up a 3-1 series lead AGAIN?!! After last year's major screwup vs Florida, you would hope they would learn from that? Apparently, not! Leafs have the major advantage now and our more hungry to win this series. bye bye Boston in 2024.
I wonder why Jim tells his players to take half the game off and be as passive as possible. Maybe tell your players to actually show up. I had assumed he did these things, but the last two games would indicate otherwise.
Does he really need to tell the players to show up? The players know the situation. They're the ones on the ice. They're the ones who had just one shot on goal in the first period. They're the ones who took 59 minutes and 59 seconds to score a goal. They know what's at stake. They knew it after that egg they laid in Game 5. You would think that that game was enough of a wakeup call. There will be plenty of blame to go around if the Bruins drop another Game 7.
Kudos to Leafs coach and the players for following the strategy. The games Leafs lost were the ones they focused on offence. Since the goalie change to Woll they've shifted to defense BUT because of their skill up front, they can transition to offence quickly and still protect the back end. Life long Bruins fan but have to applaud the Leafs last 2 games. A real team effort on their part. Leaf fans still suck tho.
@@cadamo3 HaHaha! I said that cause fans boo'd their team during game 4. They should have been supportive and applaud that they made the playoffs. Regular season is for boo'ing imho. Oh, plus I grew up in Toronto so I'm familiar with it first hand. Good luck to both our teams tomorrow.
Definitely a missed call there. I thought they’re trying to get the hit from behind on the numbers out of the game and of course the Leafs scored. He flattened the Bruin player pretty good head first anyways that said the bruins played horrible I’m not a Leaf fan but they deserved the win.

Last year is old news! Get over it, Bruins can win this. The Leafs have to continue the strong play, and please change it up for the PP. Without the PP working, you can not get far in the playoffs. Leafs need to use the February PP to win.

Swayman or will. I think I would take Swayman. The bruins are at home and the gas pedal is about to go down along with the leafs. Interesting how the leaf fans were calling for heads to roll just a week ago. No faith or guts in your team as usual
