It's fall y'all. Time for some good Brunswick Stew. We Virginians do love some Brunswick Stew. We always enjoy making and - more importantly - eating some stew this time of year. Though we have never made a giant cauldron of stew before like this. But we do make a big enough pot to get several meals out of it. Yall's looked so delicious!

Enjoyed the video. Even though I’ve been around all the stews, have never been present for every step of the cooking. Y’all really do put in a lot of effort to prepare it. Didn’t realize I was being filmed; should have had on my Appomattox Stew Crew shirt too. Job well done!

We have traveled before to do stews but try to stay close to home. It would be fun to have a stew in the Smokies!

That stew looked delicious every step of the way. That's an aweful lot of beef & chicken in there. We got a kick out of Cindy & the motion in the ocean comment. Lol😂😂😂 I noticed how quickly David grabbed the stirring tool after that. 😂😂😂 You looked like you had a good time, and when you see the smiles on the faces of the folks as they pick up their orders, that's got to make you feel good inside. It turned out great! David doesn't want that stew to scorch so he is very careful about it being stirred correctly. Everyone enjoys the stew. It does make you feel good to make a product that is so well liked. I bet Murphy would like to some. lol

@vafunseekers We know you're right. He wants to eat everything that we touch. Speaking of which, the beaver nuggets didn't even last the rest of the day, thanks to me & Murphy. And we've been eating the apple butter every morning. IT IS SOOO DELICIOUS! And we've been chowing down on the Honey BBQ4U Sauce. I didn't feel like waiting to make something that took too long to put together because I was craving some BBQ, so I heated up chimichangas & put it on those. Amazing Smoky sweetness. That's our little update so far. 😆 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Would you believe that I've never had Brunswick Stew? My ex-wife (Native Virginian) wouldn't allow the canned version it in our kitchen for some reason! And, I've yet to find it on a menu. Maybe one of these days! I'm thinking that's more like an 80 gallon pot given the number of cans of vegetables with water added without overfilling. This is perhaps your most "tasteful" video yet! We get around 200 quarts or 50 gallons out of the stew pot. We have had people to come from North Carolina before to get some stew. We have one lady that will buy a bunch. In fact David and his Dad will make a pot for her and she will get 150 quarts. She freezes it and also ships it packed in dry ice to New England States, Maryland, DC, and West Virginia. We will be coming back to Tennessee on November 10th. We do have a stew scheduled for November 3rd. We could freeze it and bring it to you if you are interested in getting in that way. We get $10 a quart on it. Just let us know.
