I think I speak for everyone here, when I say thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos, and for the high production value that you maintain consistently.
Come on folks, have you seen this channel? If the brush hog would have sunk Andrew would have built a dive suit, retrieved it with a boom loader, and have the brush hog up and running by lunch tomorrow. Good as new.
Same! I'd make a little boat ramp pier on it... add some battery powered fairy light hanging in the trees (ambiance lighting at night)... swings, a fire pit, underground cooler, etc... that'd totally be my weekend chill out spot! I wish I owned this island too. 😍
I met a guy who does similar work to Andrew about four years ago, runs a very successful business. He is the exact same way. Nothing is ever a big deal. When things go completely sideways, he takes a step back and figures it out, then moves on shortly after. Nothing is ever a big deal to him
That intro was another Kamarata masterpiece. She says, "No Andrew!!" like she's had to say it many times in the past. Andrew, "What, could happen?" Words spoken just before many a great tragedy. Cheers from B.C.
Andrew is pretty cute, but Levi is the real reason we're all here. I don't know many landscaping guys who take their dogs with them everywhere, and I think that's because most dogs are nowhere near as good and well tempered as Levi. He's clearly a very good dog, and good dogs are almost always a reflection of good owners. Levi tells us everything we need to know about Andrew's character - he HAS to be a good guy, otherwise Levi wouldn't be such a good dog. That's honestly a big part of what's kept me watching these videos, in addition to the fact that Andrew has a bunch of good knowledge that you might not necessarily find elsewhere.
Samuel you are right a good dog is a reflection of a good onwer there’s a great bond I’ve had two labs for the last 12 years,,,, they can be like the Three Stooges they can be like kids and Catholic school all depends what i let them rock ‘n’ roll I’m down to one... I’ll had both of them in a Vets office one day,,, with both of them and they were acting like there were in Catholic school, the vet told me you did a great job with them,,, that’s awesome I said the dogs a reflection of the owner JUNKMANDO
I was more thinking a pair of small piers, just large enough to moor the boats to and to facilitate getting in and out without having to step into the lake. Probably something floating.
I was thinking of anchoring a pontoon raft in the middle/deepest and when you need to access machinery to the island you use it for transportation of equipment by pulling anchor and using it like a barge.
Imagine if everyone stopped trying to figure out the meaning of life and just got busy making things around them better? He has meaning in his life. Take on responsibility, improve skills, improvise and overcome. This young man keeps his word and does his absolute best. This is living! This is making the world a better place; not just marching around with a sign on a stick telling everyone else what to do, like so many young people these days. Andrew, you give me hope!
All equipment rentals require individual, expensive little "everything" policies, it's a significant profit margin for companies large enough to self-insure such as Home Depot. I just made all of that up.
Anyone else, I would have shook my head when I saw Brush Hogging an Island... but not you! I loved it and it looks perfect. Thanks for the great video!
I agree I have one of those and for one I'm 6'2'' so I have to bend over to use it because the shaft is too short straight shaft is definitely the way to go
If it would have ended up at the bottom of the pond, Andrew would have just fished it out and got it running again. That would have been one hell of a video!!
Could you be anymore awesome. Glad to see you have a friend to come along. She seems to care for levi like yourself. You know he is the true star of the show, then you. Thanks for awesome work Andrew. You sir will go far in life.
This has to be my favorite Andrew video of all time! Quite an adventure at a most wonderful place! Nice chick too- she sure looks like a keeper Andrew! Hope to see more of you two working together, soon.
12:28 "No Andrew!" She says in a voice that boys and men have heard since adventure was to be had and daring shown to fair lady. 12:29 He launches the good ship Camarata and she stands spell bound with girlish awe.
I've used one of these machines before they are a LOT of work. Crazy respect to you for getting it in a dinghy and rowing it across to a little island, if I had a customer ask me to do a job like that I'd just laugh.
Youric Hunt Have you ever tried to start a fire with wet wood while it was raining? It’s fucking impossible. Now try to start an ALIVE tree on fire. It’s not going to happen especially after they cleaned all the alive and dead bushes and tree branches from the island. Clearly you’ve never started a fire without the aids of lighter fluid and newspaper and then had to maintain it
Andrew knows the first rule of staying in charge at work. If your boss tells you not to do something, you MUST do it. If you listen, the orders keep coming. If they know that you will do anything that they tell you not to, they stop giving orders.
What a beautiful house she really lucked out nothing like having a lake in your own backyard with an island on top of it so peaceful and serene kind of gets the Zen feeling going !!! Nice job Andrew
This is the first time I've watched your channel and I find it very entertaining. Some of the situations you find yourself in on jobs that are just a little out of the norm remind me of my own crew in the home building business.
Yup, always a jealous scumbag......Thinks it's great Andrew found a pretty girl that wears muck boots too. Andrew will be laughing all the way to early retirement. Building America One Job at a Time.
great job.i just bought this exact boat and i am really impressed with what you can do with it.my wife was unsure of the boats stability so i got her to watch this vid and she was also impressed although she thought you were crazy.thanks for the demo.
Cool concept. Island maintenance. Best part of video is the swimming Lab in background. Lol. A 1970’s Gravely with a 30” hog would eat those saplings up like a champ at half throttle.
Yup that's the way I would have done it. Would have been easier around the edges for sure. Either way he got it done and it looked nice all cleaned up.
Yep. I was thinking that, too. I use an old 12" miter saw blade on mine. A little heavy but sure cut some material in a hurry. The good thing about using the brush cutter like Andrew had is that it chops of the material.
Just a suggestion, get a circular saw blade for your weed eater. Less money, very portable, and makes quick work of that brush. Greetings from Arkansas, love the vids!
Dude : this is pretty incredible, but I have been binge-watching your channel since Wed.. Really terrific stuff. It's cool how you leave out names and places. But when you did that wave rider vid a while back, I recognised that waterway VERY much. (I've jet-skied on it too). And then after doing a little digging, I realised that I know the area you work in quite well. Anyway, you got a fantastic job Mister AC : I wish I had a job like that. Serious, capital S Serious hat tip for the excellent work. Arturo, writing from Paris, France
@@cbmadcow LOL, yeah I would hope not like this one, for sure. But, do it while your young, that would definitely be a little tougher the older ya get. 👍👍
I'm a recent subscriber (from SoCal), totally different world but we went on vacation and stayed at Lake George a couple years ago. Beautiful area. And I'm catching up on your excellent VLOGs! Always very interesting from a mechanical and ingenuity standpoint! Thanks Andrew!
after watching Andrew's videos...I now find myself saying "how would Andrew do this?" when things beyond my skill level; so thanks for all your help Andrew and keep the videos coming!
I really like that the sounds are the sounds are of what's happening and no music edited over top. Just the real sound. Good work. You gained a new subscriber.
This is one great day, started the day with Andrew and what a nice surprise I get another notification just when I’m winding down. Great video cleaning up this beautiful property, was the pretty girl the property owner or mrs AC ? You are one hard working man Andrew, you have all my respect and admiration! Stay safe and thanks for sharing your great life with all your fans. Love the way you always get things done, to bad the drone can’t fly the brush cutter to the island lol 😂
@floatpool remodeling 3 houses is simple? Maybe your wife is out getting it from someone else because her husband forces her to do hard labor because hes too cheap to hire legit help😂 get a fucking life. And stop making your wife work like a man is suppose to. Getting help with simple things is nice, but I would never let my wife work like a day laborer.
you can tell just watching Andrew work and some of the comments he makes along with the way he talks to his dog he's genuinely a really good dude not a phony by no means..
On that very first drone shot you could have told me it was Costa Rica.... and I would have believed it. Great video... when people think of New York, they never think of this part.... for sure! Beautiful country.
I have no clue where your channel came up in but I just happened to click on your video when your tire off the grey dodge and I love the commentary and how you do inventy things to fix stuff right on man
