lol there's so much hate in the comments but for someone like me who hates lawn work and doesn't give af about lawn aesthetics (only mowing to keep from getting a citation for high grass) I would love to demolish my entire lawn with this.
That thing is devouring the concrete and scarring it horribly. Can’t imagine what it will do to natural stone. Knotting brushes are made for steel, they should stay that way.
I thought it looked like it was damaging concrete too. You can’t spark steel on concrete without mutual damage, in my experience. A few years of that and you probably have chunks missing every winter.
I think its pretty cool that it sparks like that. I liked putting a nail on a grinding wheel and watching the sparks fly. I'm curious how something like this would work against thicker stuff.
Hi man, there is a wheel brushes abrasive filament, this element is more gentle to the surface the wheel brushes with a metal filament. Thanks for the idea, keep up the good work
I don’t know about that, I have a 36 Volt Makita Couple Shaft powerhead that is the equivalent of a 30cc gas trimmer. Milwaukee and DeWalt also have some very powerful cordless trimmers.
It popped up on my fav app for $1.99 on sale today. Getting 4 (my neighbors will love it). Wasn't sure it was compatible but after watching your vid, I know how to put it on. Thank you!
Likely saw that same ad earlier this month. Discover blocked my one attempt to purchase from Temu last winter... read on line reports of their not sending what is ordered -- sending masks or wipes instead. Reddit has a discussion about it.
Note: If your product arrives with a card that says you've won something -- be very skeptical. Do some on line research on the web site they say you should link to claim the prize. One report is that they're (allegedly) trying to get favorable reviews for products from people that haven't even used them.
Great review! 👍🏾 For what you demonstrated, I’ve had the same experience. I learned some more things from you, how different angles perform the best in some situations. Thanks!
We sold these for years to clean grass/weeds out from the cracks in the driveway ... nothing else. Also to stop the sparks, use it at MUCH slower speeds, the brushes from ANY manufacturer will clean just as quickly at 50% of the speed the video showed.
I would use this! People here all worried about fires, wires, and shreds of metal...but yet they drink Monster drinks all week, consume alcohol every weekend, and go 15-20 mph over the speed limit while going to work or home. Seems like they complain about risk while walking into risks.
Use it on a nice 'sealed' concrete driveway and wait 8months ... you will soin realise that you damaged your concrete surfaces protection. ... unless you cheaply dont understand expensive 'sealers'
YOUR INVENTION - VERY GOOD FOR METAL WORKERS - FARMERS - ANYone, needing heavy - duty, cleaning of metals. Paint stripping old houses....etc rusty wheel rims....ANYTHING ! THANKS FOR THE IDEA ! old guy
Made a saw - out of weed whacker. Took a deep socket , same size as nut holding trimmer head onto shaft drive. Cut to length. Centered, / welded skill saw blade ( 10 teeth per inch) onto it. Installed on whacker - good to go trimming tree branches / just be sure, that the blade, is spinning with teeth biting ! AND < > that the blade is cutting with the cuttings, going TOWARD THE LEFT , TOWARD YOUR FEET. Easier to control - than ' pulling ' it away from you. USE the guard, as a stopper on non-cutting side. ==== May make a ' head ' with round, steel oil filter cap - just round out the hole for proper size, to fit weed whacker drive ......and other ideas. thanks !
String.. just as good..if not better. He's just doing this for the light show. Who in these days... gets down there to clean cracks/concrete seams when you have edgers? And it's bad enough to get hit with debris let alone steel shards.
I keep on seeing videos of people trying to use brush cutting blades and with heads on trimmers without a clutch. I even saw a guy attempting to use a brush blade on a curved shaft trimmer. The first large stock you hit...it's going to twist your shaft up like a pretzel in a hurry. 🐶
thank you for sharing your thoughts, I am so sick of the cords that last a few seconds and catch, fall off, break, won't feed etc. But I use a electric trimmer and wonder does this fit a Electric trimmer or is there a similar style for electric ones? Thanks
“The brush remained like new after all the tests” - I call that BS - look at the before video shot and afterwards. Those brushes look half worn already. I’ll stick with the regular string trimmer with no sparks.
Beware of ripping into nice finishes ... you cant go back and expect stripped and marked cincrete to heal itself. This is not a concrete polisher, this Mechanics tool designed to strip steel.. not concrete or sandstone. Expect to Re-seal stripped surfaces with expensive sealer once you're finished ... No wonder this isn't sponsored😄
The video. I got the same wheel about 2-3 years ago from Amazon for under 10 bucks. Never put it to use. But I might do it after watching this video. It looks like it could be quite harsh on the concrete.
Great Idea but DO NOT use on decorative stamped concrete or concrete that has a sealer!!! It will decrease the life of cement walk and wall...seriously!!
Thanks my friend for sharing the new video. Although it could have a use for the maintenance of the areas, I value it very dangerous for domestic use.🙄
How do I take the head off a Dewalt trimmer to put one of these on? I have the same thing, just bought a Dewalt to put it on, can't figure out how to put it 9n, , ,
I'm sure it's not meant to be tilted like that, try it flat on the concrete and vould you do another video just walking along not stabing it into the upper edge of wall. I'm sure it's not supposed to be used the way you were??? Correct me if I'm wrong.😊 .
Nice for grass weeds etc. but using to clean a sidewalk, there are a lot better and faster solutions than this wire brush, that would be very time consuming.
I'm a bit confused on the last part where the brush cannot fix properly onto the head (8:05) ? So on the first on where is fix's perfectly its good, but on the second one it doesn't so it won't' work ?
Majstore, dobar video... 😃
Now for getting rid of weeds and grass against concrete walls and sidewalk, it's okay, but edging grass on sidewalks just tears it apart the grass and makes the edging horrible looking!
