Got my Brutal Collision and drilled it 25×5×45. Even reading as early as it does, it gets down lane pretty easily. My layout gives me a smoother backend, which helps keep the ball from jumping sideways off the end of the pattern. I've loved it as a step down from my Method Solid and step up from my Notorious. Sits right in the middle between both in terms of length and backend.

this ball would be more hook and more backend than both, but with this early/controlled layout i can see why it slots where it does. enjoy!

What ball is the best replacement for the Hell Raiser Blaze …. I’m a Hi mph low rev player

a hellcat has the same core, but the cover is cleaner down the lane. the brutal is fast-revving but much cleaner at box finish. either is a good option, but as a high speed player, you should take the surface down to something more aggressive, like 1000 or 1500.

Looking for a ball that hooks more for a low-rev player. They are currently using a Melee Jab Carbon and it sails too long on the fresh without much back end motion. Would this ball be a good option? Any others you would recommend? Mindset maybe?

Mindset is a good option for a ball that starts early with a gradual front-to-back motion. it is the strongest ball in the Brunswick lineup. Brutal Collision would be a good option if you tend to play very straight and in the friction, because it goes longer but is still strong compared to the carbon. i recommend you have your pro shop surface the carbon more aggressively so it does not go too long, and I would add surface to the Brutal too if you decided to go that route.

@@BowlingBuckosh Much appreciated! Going to try surface for sure! Also, I purchased a bottle of the Brunswick Reactive Recharge to see if that helps, as the Carbon seems slick to the touch instead of tacky.

I'm looking to replace my Closer Solid that I have drilled Short Pin. Is there an HK22 ball you would suggest for that?

HK covers are cleaner and sharper by nature, so not too comparable. Knock Out Bruiser would be the closest in the current lineup (not-HK). If you really wanted an HK cover, you could cut the box surface off of the GB4 Hybrid.
