Stay out of the bar then you don't have to worry about it. Be smart have wisdom. Now that's true wisdom. And carry no chip on your shoulder. And feeling that you have to use fighting skills just cuz you know.them. and feeling you have to challenge back. And then you're truly always ready. And most of all carry love in your heart and your body and you will win all battles. If you truly understand . You will lose none. And worry none about the street and fighting.

I try to look at all that can happen and then you have the legal aspects of it all. One thing I don't care for is too much focus on empty-handed fighting. The message in this video about the reality of fighting is legitimate and this guy's feedback is great. But the part where he said hes been in 200 fights has me thinking... which most of them are unorganized fights also known as street fights. What's this guy doing going around picking fights or something or not walking away from Potential high Risk situations or conflict? As a fighter you keep track of profights but not street fights... By then 2 you'd have a lot of battle scars on your face cause nobody's untouchable. Think about that...

@kumar7586
@kumar7586 Год назад
@@williamsmith8790 What is the criteria for being a competent street fighter? A boxer or MMA fighter has a track record of wins, losses and draws. HOW do you determine how good someone is at street fighting? What you are essentially saying is that Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Mike Tyson wouldn't last long in a street fight but Paul Vunak would, because he has some magic that they don't! Look, a serious street fight ends with one man in police custody and the other man in jail. So, how many times was Paul Vunak arrested? Did he ever go to jail? Please provide proof - newspaper reports of his so-called street fights from the 1970s and 1980s. TWO HUNDRED street fights? Even the most superficial forensic analysis shows that there is no manner in which any street fighter could have fought so many fights without ANY serious injury (except for a broken nose). 😀🤣🤪😜
@williamsmith8790
@williamsmith8790 Год назад
@@kumar7586 No, no, Red Herring, that’s not what I said at all. I would be surprised if any top level, professional fighter wouldn’t competently defend himself in a self defense situation. But, what “internet gurus” insinuate is that unless one is a UFC world champion at their respective weight they can’t adequately defend themselves. If that is the standard then every MMA and BJJ gym in the US should close up shop or be be sued for fraud because most of their clientele will never compete, much less be a UFC champ. And most of those people are at those martial arts schools paying good money under the belief that they will be able to defend themselves in the street. Are they wrong? As to taking damage, I was a bouncer for several years in my early twenties. I was in dozens of altercations that came to blows, had weapons involved, multiple people on both sides, etc. Not counting push, pulling, or dragging people out of the club that didn’t require any striking; that accounts for dozens more. In that five year period I had one black eye, a boxers fracture, slashed in the hand once, cut knuckles on a guys teeth, and some stitches from getting clubbed in the back of the head while I was tied up with someone else. That was getting into at least one to two physical altercations a week. Very little damage. Only thing that even kept me out of work or training was the boxers fracture. As far as jail, only once and those charges were dismissed. Real violence is not very similar to the ring, which I fought in as well, and is more one person doing violence to someone else vice two persons doing violence with each other. I don’t know if Vunak has any newspaper clippings of his street fights. Google him. He has fans and haters, and there are plenty of opinions on him. Matt Thornton of SBG doesn’t like him, but Rickson and Royce had a high opinion of him back in the day.
