Did data analytics for a year I couldn't do anything until I started coding even as much as people say it's difficult and a lot of things, I LOVE IT 😊

A good or great Developer is definitely someone who enjoys the daily struggle. I’m in my second week of learning react and I focused a day on building a todo app with no tutorial and it’s a painful experience but so rewarding when you get it. Definitely a profession of perseverance.

I graduate college in 2027 as a CS major and always get discouraged when hearing about how hard it is to find a job even with 10+ years of experience. I’m passionate about the field but I also like job security.

Thanks bro, ive been learning to code for the last 3 years and still don't have a job. But i haven't given up. I'm relearning js html and css rn with TOP. Hopefully by the end of the year i can be employable. But im also looking to the future- robotics, machine learning, Bio inspired Ai, is what has had my heart and interest for a long time. So continuing to shore up my programming skills and teaching myself cs and maths will be something i'll be doing for some time. Hopefully neat projects on the side will keep the flame burning inside as i look to transition from web dev to Ai later on down the road. Thanks for all the videos you share man. helps alot

hate to say it but front end developers are a common role. if you stay with that and don’t pivot to cloud you will be limited. i am a tech guy that survived the dotcom bomb, 2008 fin crisis, and 2015/2022 layoff cycles. i was a full stack dev and knew all the layers proficiently. coding to 11-12am at night was normal and i loved it. it was fun back in the day. then i left as I got bored and saw offshore replacing onshore workers. now i moved up the food chain making key IT decisions for an entire org. Also it sounds like you capped out in your salary range in the current market.

So what learning path do you recommend for complete beginner?
@JohnTube2K
@JohnTube2K 4 месяца назад
@@SRC503In the beginning it’s important to get the most experience the fastest in the shortest time if you are career focused. this doesn’t just mean hard skills like coding but also soft skills. i would recommend consulting. Back in the day I worked at IBM and traveled 4-5 days a week and got direct business exposure plus had to present and help people with coding. being a well rounded professional is a lot more alluring to employers than just a hard core coder.
@JohnTube2K
@JohnTube2K 3 месяца назад
@@SRC503 For a beginner…. you have to pay your dues and learn the fundamentals. Pick a language learn it, master it (5 yrs), then figure out where you want to be in 2-5 yrs.

Great video Chris! I'm always confused by folks who say passion and loving your what you do isn't important in tech. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Try working for a boss who is really passionate about what they do, when you are only doing it because you heard it was the "fastest way to 6 figures". And what the heck do they think is going to happen when someone else who is passionate about the technology, and actively seeks to learn new things outside of their given role, gets into the picture?

Can you share about the backend experience and make a video on it? The thing is that CSS is something i dont enjoy at all, I tens to lean towards backend although it is harder but I think more rewarding IMO and I can with python as well, but i would love if you make a video on that subject.

Hey bud if you enjoy backend go all in on it. I prefer front end since I tend to enjoy the creative artistic part of css and js
@brannon1030

I enjoy backend far more than frontend. I guess it’s true what they say. Frontend is more for people who enjoy the creative aspects of coding and backend is more for people who enjoy the logical aspect.

My take on junior devs jobs is this..when you're looking for a job as junior devs, like any other job in whatever field you can Imagine, there is never time frame to any job..there is so many factors involved.. looking for a job is a job on its own, one can take a month ,the other can take a year, the other 6months, some even longer than the above, what you need to add to your job search is perseverance, also be expectant, fine ways to encourage yourself all the time, the job will come eventually, no one knows the when part but God does, so ora et labora, pray and work ( keep searching...) All the best
