Hard to believe that engine is pushing 100 years old, quality and design are amazing. I think you are especially enjoying this project :)

Those oil within the crankcase engines were designed by a distinguished engineer called Harold Briggs. He was a Daimler man brought across to BSA in 1926 to do the job. By 1937 BSA went back to the remote oil tank designs.
