i know this comment is 5 years old but in dragon ball xv2 when trunks does this attack he yell : DISSAPEAR FOR GOOD! and i feel like it really fit the manga/anime and the game :)
Don't forget, in Trunks's Ultra form, he don't have alot of speed since it got killed by the massive power up, so it will nearly if not already impossible for him to perform any kind of rush attacks.
Yep, and the only reason he even uses that form is because he didn’t have nearly as much fighting experience compared to the other Z-Fighters. Hell, one of his moves is “Inexperienced Power Up”.
Because in the original japanese dub, Cell's voice barely changes from each form, so they used the Imperfect Form sounds for every form without problems. The American version simply replaced the audio since they can't add more audio files, and that's why in every english dubbed game Cell sometimes speaks with a voice from a different form.

The explosive waves were cool in BT1 but they were definitely overdone by BT3 cause a few of them really could’ve had better move sets. I rather Super Trunks’ ultimate be a rush attack that ends with him firing a blast as he did do that in the anime when fighting perfect cell
Well super trunks couldn't really have had a rush, because all that power made him too slow to be able to fight effectively, but that's a good suggestion on a 'super punch', or some kind of mighty close up combo that doesn't land many hits, but you really know that each one of them hurt
I had an idea for Trunk's ultimate instead of the explosive wave thing, since he is all about raw power my idea was that he rushes towards them gives them a slow volley of punches to the gut while pushing them towards a huge cliff wall, when at the wall he pulls his fist back and slams it in to the person stomach digging them deep in to the side of the cliff. Like my idea thumbs it up if you do.
Trunk's (base form) Ultimate should be, "Father's Love," and should involve a cutscene where the opponent violently kicks Trunks away and then Vegeta intervenes to attack them.
Better would be name it "Ultimate Prize", where you take massive damage like in Cell's "Unforgivable" but Vegeta comes and beats the shit out of the opponent.
While i think they intended Super Trunks to seem significantly worse than his SSJ1 form, they could have gave him an Ultra grab based on had his rush on Cell worked and replace B1:Burning Attack with the ki barrage [torrent] he used in the bojack movie. thx for re-upload and the added commentary.
Well, different costumes were made, you could possibly choose his sword costume, and in that costume you could use a sword. If you chose his saiyan armor costume, then you would use his fists. It's just an idea, it'd be nice to have a costume that actually effects the character.
@sonicfreak101 No he fought the androids only in the saiyan battle armor, but he did fight against bojack and broly in his normal outfit without his sword.
Using Super Trunks was a nightmare, he was so slow😂. However, I liked the idea of making that transformation quite useless, considering that it was on the show. Between Trunks SS and Super Trunks, you will pick regular SS a 100% of times.
Is not a glitch, it just can't be fixed. They just replace the japanese audio for the english one, and in japanese, Cell only has 1 "being hit" audio file because he has the same vocie forn every form in japanese. They can't add new ones for each one (or they can and are just lazy).
@omega, every move doesnt comeout gold when they are super saiyan, Kamehameha is a perfect example, the color of blast show how powerful they are, pink, blue, yellow purple red....
Again, I personally think the voice actors do a great job, but I agree with you 100% on the translation. DBZ is among the most horribly translated series in existence. For the most part I watch anime in either language, but DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho and many others(mostly by FUNImation), I have to watch in Japanese to get the correct message.
@Omega2040 The Reason Burning Storm Doesn't Change To A Gold Color Is Because It IsJust Multiple Buster Cannons, Which Are Blue To Begin With, And Don't Change Color.
@Altar360 yea ik but it feels kinda weird that his storngest form is like slow as hell idk it feels empty for me without him having his ascended super saiyan form. they can always try to make a solid moveset for that form
@FutureGohanssj6 I know, In BT3, Trunks (Sword) Base had Afterimage but in Raging Blast he had Wild Sense, Why change it when all the other moves were kept the same.
i also dont get why recent games don't give trunks his Ascended Super Saiyan form and only give his Ultra Super Saiyan form, the first Budokai game was the only game i think dat had all his forms. I know he didnt use this form for that long and its tghe same as his other Super form but it feels kinda left out for me why they don't put it in
I mostly agree with this, but for gameplay purposes, USSJ Trunks could have had just one 3 bar super ball (finish buster), a 4 bar rush (his missing vs P.Cell) maybe ending with a super ball (burning attack), and the 4 bar explosive wave as an ultimate or swap the the last two moves (explosive wave, then a rush ultimate) with the ultimate being 5 bars.
Trunks' alternate costumes should had been the same costumes he had in the Sword version, but obviously without the sword. Just giving the same model in a different colour pissed me off.
I don't get why Omega complains about Burning Storm being blue while SSJ has a gold aura. To me, I like the contrast of colors when an attack has a different color than the aura. Kaioken x20 Kamehameha anyone?
if it was up to me super trunks would have had a gigantic super rush that involves punching someone's face in and then at the end end with a super explosive wave that would be cool right
