He is obviously just trying to take the credit for himself. Such a tactic is unrealistic. You can't act as though you're famous if you aren't already famous, because what would support this claim? Lol
@@Ohyes-vw8wp first of all, you clearly have no idea about how bts rise came to be. What contributed to their popularity the most was RU-vid not Instagram or whatever. Bts music videos used to be uploaded on 1theK, a channel that includes alot of kpop artists. The music videos become popular among the much smaller international kpop community back on the day and continued to spread further when bts became more popular in Japan. The fans bts gained at the time helped to promote the group on other sns channels simply because they liked them and wanted to share their music. This gradual process continued until bts released blood, sweat & tears which became very popular on RU-vid, and later in the following year they were nominated for the billboard music awards which also gave them alot of attention. Then they released DNA which gained alot of views and spotify streams and instantly made bts a hit, what happened afterwards is that bighit entertainment saw the demand and promoted bts on the US industry more and more. The rest is history. And to fix your misconception, BTS fans already knew that they weren't the most popular group in South Korea even before their global success, and that's why I'm saying that this "famous for being known as famous" strategy is pure nonsense. On the first place, foreigners don't care about what's popular in a country in the corner of the world like south korea and only care about what's popular on their own countries. The music BTS released appealed the most to the international audience and that's was the most contributing factor. Lastly, I don't agree with your assessment of bts talent as their talent does not only revolve about singing but also rapping, dancing, composing & writing music; overall they are a very well-rounded group. However, most importantly they consistently sing live unlike the vast majority of kpop groups which is very crucial if you want to be taken seriously even a bit in the western market. Even Mariah Carey, a legendary singer, is being mocked for lip syncing alot in her performances in the past few years, let alone some music groups from some other country.

He is obviously trying to take all the credit for himself to look smart in front of people. Such a loose tactic is impossible to achieve if you're not already famous and have a loyal fanbase to begin with. Stop acting ignorant on purpose just because of your established bias.
