Thanks for paying attention to the lyrics. Their lyrics is one of the things that make BTS special. Their lyrics are raw, deep, and relatable. But at the same time they can make the lyrics sound poetic. Especially, RM is a lyricist wizard.

They actually even hid a third meaning of tear in the song... In his verse Suga says T.E.A.R. which is a coping mechanism model for loss: T - To accept the reality of the loss E - Experience the pain of the loss A - Adjust to the new environment without the lost person R - Reinvest in the new reality They are lyrical kings indeed! 💜

It was a breakup that fortunately & thankfully didn't happen. Thanks to Suga for writing this song - the members had a clarity of mind and stayed together. Thank you!

04:03 RM recently said that he tries writing lyrics that are personal but universal at the same time, talk about personal experiences but that everyone can relate to, and Outro Tear is perfect example. This song can mean so many different things to every person, it is indeed written about group's hard times when they wanted to disband, but you can easily relate it to any relationship really

Outro Tear is a very personal song for the members and for us as fans, Suga mentioned in their documentary that he wrote this song for the members when they we’re considering Disbanding for good back around in 2018..? The message behind this song is really deep. 🥹🥺🥺🥺

JK actually flew while performing euphoria so he got really close to the fans. i hope you react to that someday. outro tear is my favorite i love the lyrics and you can feel the members emotions clearly. it really means a lot to them, and they have not performed it since. i think it was a chapter in their lives that they might not want to talk about anymore.
