Info on RoB chapter 11
Rise of Bangtan episode 11: After expressing the more vulnerable sides of youth in The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1 and Pt.2, Bangtan Sonyeondan decides to burn it all down and party hard. Have they been able to move on from their pained youths? Or has that pain manifested into another form?
In this episode, we watch as Bangtan Sonyeondan begins to rework their goals and dreams now that "success" is no longer on the list.

Yes, Aneesa is the sole editor/creator of The Rise of Bangtan. She does have a group of volunteers who help translate the series now into 18 languages, but she really started this series on her own four years ago! She is so appreciative of the love and support she has received from so many people on her "passion" project to tell the guy's story as honestly as she could. Her professional skills as a video editor really shines through!

During this point of time, they started to become bigger. Bang Si Hyuk saying that he's not going to say he's proud of them yet and wait until they will become the biggest band... I feel so happy thinking that now, they certainly heard Bang PD telling them how proud he is of his boys. Their journey is one hell of a roller coaster and I always wanted to enjoy that ride with them. Always proud to be an ARMY.

in this same letter, bang pd told them that the day they will be to do all of this (an album) on their own, then they will be able to call him "hyung" (treating him as an older brother rather than their boss). which happened with BE ! Jin said it was one of the most memorable moment of his career

SHINWA is a legendary group. Also they are one of top Idols who admit that : "BTS paved the way." Only a few Idols who openly admit it, like TWICE, Jackson Wang from GOT7, Ailee, & of course, Seo Taiji himself. *actually the President also said it on TV 😅

Thank you for the beautiful reaction. It's true that BTS are getting better and better for their each comeback. They will show you their true personalities in their VLIVE, the VLOG and their interviews. For sure they will be CHAOTIC as usual and as an old ARMY, I 💖 them for what they are and what they will achieved in years to come. Thank you again😁

The coffee place is a dog cafe. There are lots of themed cafes in Korea! Ive been to a bear cafe (yes, with actual bears), hello kitty cafe, harry potter cafe, cat cafe and bunny cafe. U can pet the animal while u eat! All those ive been too have been fun with tasty food! This would not fly in America cause people are too lawsuit happy. Just imagine the permits that an animal cafe would need and insurance. People dont even tolerate support animals in stores or restaurants! Lol

Blood sweat and tears was their big "wow" moment. Like they had a couple of big wow moments before but BST was what made people start to take their artistic concepts seriously.

Im one of those people who joined them in between i need u and run, and when wings came out with b s & t, i didnt like it at all. The change was huge all of a sudden and it just didnt sit with me. And i wasnt the only. But thankfully over time i learned to love it. Looking back, they really dont have any "bad" songs.

Yoongi is a very powerful and deep lyricist. Also if it is his song, it is not only written and composed by him, but most likely produced. Both his mixtapes are self-produced

Didn’t plan to be a fan - because I thought - how can I like their music when I don’t understand what they’re saying. And then I came across Fire then ON then BST, Black Swan, etc etc. And I was always in awe - of their music, lyrics, choreo, stage/performance… I stayed though because they seem like good, genuine kids.

Yeah Bang PD the real MVP for BTS. From the very beginning to now he has always been there for them and put his neck out for them, personally and professionally. His realistic yet heartfelt attitude on life and how he treats his employees is something to be admired and should be the precedent for all management. I wish there was more interviews and such on him honestly, it would be so amazing, because just as brilliant as ARMYs and BTS’ story is, the companies is just as much so, if only because of how they have managed to keep their humanity when they were poor and rich. It’s utterly brilliant and a beautiful thing to have in the real world and be reality. But I agree, Bang PD really is like the 8th member, him and BTS have the same energies 😂 But to be fair it was intended like that, Bang PD chose the right people to plan his rebellion against the unfair debilitating practice of the idol music industry, and he chose very well. They were there for each other in the long haul from the beginning because from the beginning they knew what what they were trying to do: do music with honesty, depth, reason, and voice, something rarely seen in music and from music companies of today, or at least not to the level BTS, Bang PD, and BigHit have done it 😄 it’s utterly amazing to witness and be apart of 😄

The Hand gesture: The finger heart, as it is also called. The whole fist represents the actual heart, that is the size of a normal human heart and the two fingers (thumb and index finger) represents the arteries, so that you're like giving your heart to someone when you do that gesture. When you look at the two fingers, crossed together it also form like a small (tiny) heart shape...

Psychologically, we actually do change every 7 years. It might not seem like it to us, because it’s a gradual/natural process to us. But to those around you, within 7 years they’ll be able to tell how your personality and temperament has changed, from the outside looking in. So yes, 7 years actually is a natural life cycle we all experience and is more than enough time for idols to decide they no longer want to be an idol or would prefer to pursue other forms of entertainment.
@Ahjusshi_Brown
@Ahjusshi_Brown 2 года назад
This 7 year cycle is also why many relationships (romantic or otherwise) fall apart citing “you’re not the person I knew when we first met,” which is usually true. You met that person while they were in 1 cycle, and now (whether to be a year, 3 years, or the full 7 years later) they have “evolved” into a different person with different interests, different tastes, and different methods of communication, etc.

Yeah, that’s one of the things that drew me to them, they are so humble and open to learning everything life has to teach. And wise for their ages. Alas, I’m not on Twitch (I’m old and I cannot figure out how it works, LOL), but if at all possible I’d love to see your reaction to Deswitcha (sp?) if you could post it here. If not I understand, although you could consider posting your reaction to the explanation video (yes, it has an explanation video for non Koreans, since it goes deep into Korean culture and history, as Suga likes to do). Also, I have never been able to figure out what makes a mix tape different from an album, so I was hoping to hear that, too. Great video, as always. Your reactions are as close as I’ve found to mine when I first discovered them, except you’re more musically knowledgeable. 👍🏾💜 Oh, but I just figured out your Patreon, so I’m your newest subscriber! JIM!! They have KCON LA and KCON NY, so you could go if you wanted to. BTS doesn’t go to them anymore (too popular = security risk, and too busy now) but other groups/idols do perform. I haven’t gone in many years and while I think most of the acts nowadays are younger groups, there are always bigger names headlining the concert portion.

The thing with the fingers is a heart, and means I love you to Koreans. They actually did a skit about that on the Steven Colbert show, like 8 or 9 months ago. Even though you could tell it was scripted, it was still pretty funny.

This is the rap August D hit's back at those 'underground rappers' that called him and RM a girls for wearing make up on stage. He talks about his fight with depression, his mental health, he bears his life, his soul in this mix tape. Some of it had me in tears it's raw and hard hitting. It's a mini heart sign to say 'love you' it's also can be seen as a 'kiss'. Dog coffee shops and cat coffee shops are a thing in some Asian countries the 2 thing really are come to mind are Firstly Thailand and the other being Korea.

It's 7 years after laws changed because it used to be 10 years. The agency isn't just a music label, they manage idols for films, TV and commercials. VERY few idols can make money on music alone because they have to split it with members and they owe the agency for training years, most go into acting and make money from commercials and tv work. Most groups do not renew their contract because they do not make enough money for the work they put in.

You were hesitant to say it but I think your instinct was 100% right. They definitely loosened up and threw off some stiffness after a few years. Like the documentary will mention Jin even had a role if “the cool guy” which he just isn’t and there is a moment where he outright says.. the company wanted me to act like that but I’m not doing that anymore. Every one of them, I think, went through the same thing. They threw off the image of an ideal “idol” and became the silly goofy weak strong REAL people that they are. We love that for them! 🥺

The language thing I guess I was spoilt growing up as I listened and danced to a lot of music in a number of different languages. I still listen to music in other languages. It's the music itself that first gets you then you find out about the lyrics eg what they mean. Music is a language in and of itself. So I've never understood why especially people from the USA appear to have a 'fear' of listening to music that's not in English.

I’ve seen you’ve reacted to BTS vs Kpop by bbygang. Can you react to his three part series titled You’re Wrong About Kpop/The Media Is Wrong About Kpop/Kpop vs Orientalism? His videos are utterly phenomenal, and I’d love it if you could check out his other videos out as well about Kpop & BTS. They are so well-researched and non biased. He does the work that so many western reporters don’t when researching and explaining BTS and Kpop. He encapsulates so well how truly phenomenal BTS is in the Kpop industry, the pop industry, and the music industry as a whole. It helps that with how well he does his research, he shows so much respect for eastern concepts and their impact on the western world. It’s beautiful. One of the best Kpop/BTS videos I have ever seen.
