Hey Eric you have been a tremendous help brother. Quick question..I'm building one of these now,first for straw and then maybe masters mix bags Inna few months..question I have is I got inkbird itc-608t, do I jus set the temp thing thru the top in the water w straw? And if I have bags do I position between the bags for temp?. I'm gonna run a 1500 w element I believe..and for the straw I just do at 160ish for couple hours right? Bit if I have 10-12lb bags in there,how long does that go for and at what temp? And you men and women out there away from your families, you guys stay safe and know that this American guy here supports your dedication to this country in a hard time. Peace my man

Thanks for the video. I'm gathering supplies to build one based on your design - i'm finding it easier to come across used 18 and 20 gauge stainless barrels. I noticed that the bubbas build is 16 gauge - do you see any reason that 18 gauge wouldn't be sufficient?

Hi pardon my ignorance but why is the thermocouple reading the air temp and not the water temp as the pid is controlling the element which inturn is heating the water to maintain set temperature.

so it doesnt need someking of rubber washer? so the teflon can withstand high heat?

A lot of this reminds me of electric HERMS beer brewing.

For the price you would think you would get the roller free and a thank you card and a box of chocolates.. But yes they are really cool and turn keyish.
