The problem was the houses were not packed .... the region was oil producers and there was plenty of cheap Arabian oil flooding into the US ...not to mention other parts of the economy were weakly developed ... the TV show had huge ratings but unemployed people don't buy tickets
That elbow drop was perfect . Buddy Roberts is criminally under rated basically because he did his job so well . He could get more heat than the other two Freebirds . He could work as well a Terry and better than Michael . His mic skills were better than Terry's . Yet he is considered the least of The Freebirds ?
Terry Taylor was bigger in person than he looed in the ring . Mostly because the UWF was full off big guys like Gordy and Doctor Death etc.... met him once , surrounded by teenie boppers ..
