What would you say is the best way to start learning how to do framework like you do?

I’d say practice cutting, fitting and welding on smaller projects first. Build a welding cart, small project or something. Then pick a project that if it don’t turn out your best you don’t care. You know you’re doing it to learn. Then dive In. Who knows. You may have to rebuild it all 10 years later but you have the ability from practice and not being scared to get in there. All that being said, I don’t endorse putting a vehicle on the road that is dangerous. I was totally clueless how dangerous this thing was until I looked at it good this last year 😂😂

@@PuddinsFabShop Hey man don't feel bad, some people just DRIVE their cars and make them dangerous. A relative who will remain unnamed asked me to check his car because the suspension was clunking... The rear passengers side strut mount had failed, the strut was stabbing the deck lid, like it had been doing this so long it almost punched THROUGH the deck lid, and the other strut mount was held together with load bearing paint I think. I refused to fix the car because the only way to do it was to install a strut spring compressor on the spring on the car, and uh, yeah... No.. Seen a strut spring compressor fail, the spring was a worn out spring from a 90's Audi and it STILL went thru the drywall behind the bench it was on, into the little laundry closet in the garage, and took out the front loading drier. Nope...

That it is, these videos get me through my day, I’m not sober but I do want to be, such a long hard road man, feeels like it’s the whole first part of my life gone, I’m only 18 and have had no kind of experience outside my shed, I just do what makes me happy until I’m no longer here. I try tho :)

When I was a kid, my grandpa had 2 1982 Datsun 720 king cab trucks. One auto, one 5 speed. Both diesel! I tell you, those trucks loaded over the top of the box with rocks, bumper dragging up a hill. He put the manual in 1st, let off the clutch and with each stroke she climbed. That truck was amazing. The motor outlasted the body though.

Love how the fabrication is going on this truck, nice little tip on how to bend tubing, yeah you could’ve gone to a buddies shop and did a quick 5 minute job bending both tubes to how you wanted them, but what about the guys that don’t have friends with tube benders. I say keep going with this build love to see it finished up, every now and then toss in a will it run video just for sanity’s sake, even working steady on the truck it’s gonna take a good while before things are close to being done so it’s understandable you need to step away for a couple of “ quick clips” just to refresh yourself to get back into.

God damn puddin being sober is a great accomplishment i think i speak for everyone when i say I’m proud of you man it’s not easy to give up the ol bottle ask me how ik i used to be a stoner smoked dope all day every day and drank a fair bit as well but there was a point where i realized it’s no way to live now i only drink and smoke a bit of dope once every blue moon at a party and i got my life back on track and honestly I’ve noticed how much money I’ve been able to save as well it’s crazy I’ve learnt it’s ok to do these things but you got to learn how to control it as well and make it an occasional thing instead of a daily routine

It's the mishaps and the compromises that makes it real, don't be afraid to show everything you do! I think what you do looks very well thought through and aesthetically pleasing. I stumbled onto your channel a few weeks ago. It was the episode when you first started the current project, I think. Then I found the first episode ever and watched the channel for about a year (according to the dates). I have to say that you have truly evolved into a great teacher but also your personality is addictive. Your first year or so you were informative but dryer than a freshly changed baby bottom. Not so any more. You have found your calling. I do have a suggestion for your merchandise sales: How about a Puddin's Fab Shop "man purse?" Don't let go of it, trust me. Blew up my first car, '98 Prelude, scrapped it for pennies on the dollar. Would pay crazy money to get it back, wish I'd saved it.

@@perotekku Same with my 70 Monte Carlo . Sold it for around $450 with a locked up 350 back in 88 or 89. The buyer put oil in it, put a breaker bar on the crank and drove it home within an hour. Still makes me sick.
