Lovely video Dave, always enjoyable and informative to watch, some lovely flounders there to. Will give it a try sometime, keep em coming mate tight lines
Nice video JV watched this yesterday. It's my local bit live 5 minutes away from there.so i headed down ended up with 13 flounder no seatrout but they were jumping by the pier some big ones
i know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a method to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Kamryn Louis thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@@Viking19077 i had the same thoughts and have tried to no avail but maybe worth a go in darkness with bait and a good surf running....something i intend to try in the future
You never eat your catch? Fresh flounder as tasty as bass but texture bit softer. Nice video again. And a bonny spot. Reminds me of west barns a bit near dunbar.
Nice vid. Like it up there nice basic caravan/camp site just along road from there, only probs with Northumberland is the amount of landowners/ holiday home owners restricting access to coastline by gating off roads meaning you have to walk miles.
Great fishing in a lovely place. For your two hook flippers do you use dropper knots or three way swivels? Whenever I tie dropper loops, I find it difficult to get the snood long enough even when I cut the loop. Sea trout look good. I'm going to try on the Yorkshire Coast for them. BTW I've found tiny brown trout on the wet beach at Embleton. Making their way down to the sea no doubt.
Hi Gary i use 10 inches of 20lb mono any lighter and they tend to tangle a lot....this is trapped on a small single swivel between two small beads with crimps or knots...8 space the two snoods out so that they dont tangle with the weight or each other....hope this helps
@@jarrowvikingsinsaneangling9785 Thanks for that, JV. O I see. The swivels you use are straight through T type with one eye for the snood? What strength is the rig body?
The rig body is 70lb mono just in case i need to up the weights to cooe with a rougher sea....you will catch more bass though if you use as light a main line as you can on your reel and lighter weights i normally use a spinning rod with 2 ounce weights same terminal rig though
@@jarrowvikingsinsaneangling9785 Thanks. That's very useful. We got bass and flatties right in the edge if the water's cloudy on our sandy beach. A lot of anglers cast right over them in my opinion. Are the sea trout close in as well?
Next to.the golf club at Embleton short walk to beach yes I ve fished there in December ...its best during darkness with a bit of a roll on the sea over low tide
