Buffing and waxing the sn95 mustang! 

Nice car! I have a 1998 GT that I'm refurbishing. It looks just like yours. Mine has been on the side of my house for 12+ years, 100% stock, paint has never has been buffed, but does have some sun fade. I'm hoping it will buff out with great results like yours. At the moment the T45 is getting a serious upgrade, also putting in all new rubber bushings and suspension components. The engine is getting ported PI heads, intake, cam, keeping the exhaust stock. The gearing is tuff, still deciding: 3.55, 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10. At fast freeway speeds, what RPM do you think is acceptable? leaning towards 3.73 or 3.90. I almost wish I could do the engine with cam first, to get a better RPM feel of what gear would fit best, but while I have the trans open, will be changing the speedo gear for the differential change and don't want to do twice. Plus its easier replacing everything when it's all apart (Its the replace while its apart syndrome). The sn95's aren't popular, not the fastest, but is a great value, that is a spirited driver with true character. For me, a true DIY mechanic, better than spending a ton of money on something new with a little turbo engine.... Although I do like Kawasaki super charged sport bikes! Thats literally apples vs. oranges...
