BUGERA V55 Play through - By GearTestUa 

I've seen the review for this one and for the V55 and I have 1 question: What's with all the metal? No in between sweet overdrive sounds? No smooth clean sounds? or does this amp and the V55 shine in the hi gain department (which they clearly don't) I played a V55 at a show and it was damn sweet...nothing against metal, I used to play in metal bands 10 years ago but this is clearly not a metal amp. Make other videos please!

This video had some serious potential, I was really ready to hear this amp being played in the context in which it was created (to play more classic sounding stuff like blues, jazz or classic rock) but instead of helping me understand what this amp is actually used for, you play metal riffs and shred, as such, I have no idea what this amp actually sounds like.

Clean tone sounds awesome

i have the v55hd with the 4x12 cab. shortly after i got it it blow a power tube and a cap had to send it for repair. but was want to change tubes any way had mesa tubes power/pre both changed while in for repair. major difference in tone when i got it back. CHANGE THE TUBES. made everything sound better cleans and gains have more clarity and dynamics. i play along side a mesa triple rec and love my sound we mix well. and more volume then u need. and easier to control then the mesa is. great amps

mesa 6L6s. have sold the amp and bought a Marshall DSL. the bugera was great but the Marshall is a better amp u get what u pay for.(for the most part) would like to have the V22 some day just because it would be easy to carry.

I ordered a BluGuitar Amp1 from Musicians Friend and tried it for a few days. I returned it. Good solid unit but I just didn't like the sound of it. I almost bought a Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170 but didn't because I like an effects loop. I was on the Thomann site with a Marshall 1987X Plexi in my basket. $1500 but Marshall doesn't allow Thomann to ship Marshalls to the U.S. at those prices. MF gets $2500 for 'em. Which is proof of the exorbitant markup on those things. I had one once. Total one trick pony. So ultimately I had MF send me a Bugera V55HD and believe me, these RU-vid videos do not do this amp justice. $399.99 with FREE SHIPPING! I've been playing this amp so much since I got it I have blisters on my fingers. I'll gig with it.

Amp manufacturers never give you the best sounding tubes.Only the most durable tubes that will get you past the warranty.Tell me,did you put in 6L6 or EL34 tubes?What type and grade?

Is Bugera v55 better than Bugera v22?
