Buggy Build 2.0 - Please do not ask for plans - they do not exist.

@Tw1nTurb00s There are many buggies that mount the radiator up that high and there are no issues moving the coolant around. The radiator is mounted that high to maximize air flow and keep it protected from rocks and debris

whered you get the rear end with bolt on cv axles? im lookin to build a buggy like this with a katana 600 motor i have and the rear end is the hold up......thanks

@ksascor It is an engineering program called working model 2D. I just used the free demo version to cycle the suspension

@where1is1kinuso You still need the front tires to have some bite if you want to steer and brake. Also, you can carry one spare that will fit all four corners if they're the same.

Can you tell me where you bought your rear chain drive set up shown at 1:41 in your video? I would like to know how you mounted the caliber and sprocket to the cv joints. Im looking everywhere for a buold video and can't find a rear end build like this.. its getting frustrating lol. I know i can build it but i want a hint on the knuckles.. a visual hint lol..im but to just pull a truck or car apart and just guess and waste money.

Great work very impressive.only concern is 4000 rpm is not a good engine idle 800 rpm to 1200 rpm would be much safer

Nice job. I'm going to build a buggy out of a shortened s10 blazer frame and im gonna put a 305 on it and then all i will need to do is put a winch bumper on the front build a roll cage put a trailer hitch on the back and put lights and a CB on it

where should I look to order rear axle parts like you used? I want to have independent rear suspension on my project but my google foo is not strong enough I can only seem to find sources for solid axle builds

James Adamo look for www.theegdeproducts.com for ideas and think how to do cheaper. or check for piranha plans on net. there are used shafts with plines from tractors. them you can buy in agro stores. just look.

@mathiasyo97 thats why you use a motorcycle engine because (on that motor) the transmission is on the bottom (the larger bottom part)

Dean Slayer thanks for the reply! I ended up finding him on minibuggy.net and he answered my questions there. Thank you for the link, it really helps as well on what I'm planning. I like that in your link it's small, compact and uses pillow block bearings. Thanks!
