Complimentary "BuT ThErE aRe EnOuGh CoSmEtIcS tO bUy WiTh CoMpAnY cOiN" Because there is always that one guy on Reddit whenever a post or Comment brings up this
Archra I hate that the latest armory acquisitions only have a base grey color scheme and I’ll have to inevitably grind a stupid amount of CC just to get the other color schemes. Company Coin is already incredibly flawed in that I’ll play game after game absolutely killing it by topping leaderboards/playing the objective/and completing as many assignments as possible only to see I’m not getting anywhere near the amount of CC I should be and it’s really just fucked up that it’s almost incentivized that you should put real money down for a pitiful “reward”
I wouldn't mind seeing naval uniforms for each side as cosmetics, plus I'd like if DICE changed the default british uniform colors to the British Khaki.
When the Eastern Front comes I hope they release SS (not exactly Gestapo) but actual SS camp and stuff that was used on the battlefield. Like 1st SS Leibstandarte, Totenkopf, etc.
A very good point. Give us cool skins for the other weapons through ToW and also all the ‘base’ skins should be available for all weapons - so we can have a Chromed Boys AT or a Liberté StG 44
THE TROLL ... how about the desert skin from the single player Under No Flag? That one was pretty cool too. I’ll have to go back and watch the trailer again but I think I do remember that I liked that as well.
I would love to see specific gear for different commonwealth countries, like slouch hats and shorts for ANZACS and turbans for Indian troops. I’d also love to see the foreign volunteer Uniforms for the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS, the SS in general would be nice too, but the azul division is a good example.
There's no way they'll add anything explicitly SS let alone anything suggesting it. That said they did add in the SS pattern of helmet cover rather than the Heer pattern.
I would enjoy if all soldiers in Battlefield V look realistic (also like the uniforms practical use at 90 % of the soldiers in the field.) And they should be all free.
Oh, totally agree. In a similar menu to the character select, we should have a hair colour/shade and style select option - they could have a bunch of era-appropriate hairstyles for men and women as default styles, then maybe some slightly more out-there ones for purchase like a scorched version of a default style, a shaved pattern etc (as some ideas)
Pink Panda ... that’ll never, never, ever happen in this game. But they did just drop a storm trooper camo uniform that looks like it came out of Walmart’s SS retail line. Minus the ss tabs, of course. It’s pretty cool and much better than nothing.
A Jaded Lizard ... that would be pretty cool. But even so, with this game set up as it is, you wouldn’t be able to spawn into a panzer except as a woman with a sten wearing pajamas. So just forget all about playing the role of Michael Wittman. Not PC!!!
A Jaded Lizard ... I can’t get into BFV for some reason right now (imagine that)...my squads aren’t coming up. It was a 3 piece outfit available on armory a week or two ago. It’s not on the armory menu now, but may be still on the bottom end of you squad menus. They also had the 101st Abn “Wild Eagle” available as well. It sort of coincided with the DDay anniversary. During the DDay battle the 101st Abn and the 17th SS PnzrGrndr fought it out in and around St Mer Eglise (forgive any misspelling) so the uniforms were a nice tribute to those two very tough outfits.
Thanks for the positive angle, Purchased the first two characters to support the development of new maps, pacific and russian theaters. i would buy authentic vehicle skins, Michael Wittmann's tiger tank, Hub Zemke's P-47 Thunderbolt, Don Gentile's P-51B Mustang, Suburo Saki's Zero, George Patton's Staff Car/ Good question and content.
The cavalleria weapon skin is by far my favorite weapon skin I've ever seen in a video game. It looks amazing on the commando carbine and downright awesome on the boys at rifle.
I'd like to see more color options for the clothing items instead of the Green, Grey and Brown. Throw in some black, or faded colored uniforms. Add in camos that were exclusive to certain teams.
German pilots in North Africa would fix Coca Cola bottles to the underside of their plane's wings so the drink would cool down at high altitudes. This is one of my favorite facts from WW2 and even though I'm a horrible pilot, I would buy a bf109 skin like that in a heartbeat.
Other cosmetic items that personaly i would like will be for example - accessories like watches, gloves, different boots, goggles or not on helmets or neck, camoflages on gadgets and pistols. In other words just like the apperance of PUBG character. I think we are a bit limited on our player's apperance
I really want a classic "Tommy" unifrom. Basically the bf1 British assault but in bfv. In early war that's what the british looked like Oh and a french uniform would be nice. Again basically what bf1 looked like but brown not blue and more accurate german outfits. And of course more factions like soviets and american
I love eye patches because it shows “Wow you’ve been through some crap” What I want is a German Flat cap, this was given with the standard German uniform. It would be really cool to have a accurate tanker uniform possibly making the tanker to wear it, so it won’t just be default faction medic maybe just make it a general cosmetic.
Honestly some of them are ok but I can’t justify almost 10$ for cosmetics especially when this iteration of battlefield has a bleak future and already dwindling player base. I just can’t support the negligence of Dice/EA or whoever is calling the shots.
I was so disappointed when BFV trailer was revealed and they weren’t doing a realistic looking WWII game. I was so excited when I saw the concept art before the trailer of the paratroopers landing in Rotterdam. I thought they could have done operations like BF1 with the Dutch soldiers talking before each game and the Dutch soldiers giving out commands during gameplay, just like BF1. Instead, we got nothing like that. Maybe they will do it when the IJN are released and they decide to make it realistic looking?
I want to see a German M36 fieldblouse proper k98 ammo pouch positioning. Proper combat loadout. Proper uniform colours would be nice also.. I'd also like to see some proper german camo (splinter, DOT44)
Pistol skins would be nice that are just applied as a set - and that brings in the possibility of a Night Luger appearance. Additionally changing the sights a little so you can have any sight style supported by a weapon with any unlocked appearance - so you could have a gold plated reflex sight, chrome irons, mint 6x scope etc
I know realistic cosmetics is a very common topic brought up all over Reddit and most comments sections, however - alongside those cosmetics I'd love to see sidearm customization as well. Things like the Red Barrons P08 Pistol from BF1 come to mind. Honestly I'd love that as a Veterans reward, either that or the Peacekeeper revolver we earned from the Phantom project in BF1, exclusive to those who unlocked it (The weapon model and animations are already there, they just need porting over)
Maybe the Tactical Donut could be a gadget for the medic or assualt class. Slower movement in water and move visible to the enemy but gives the ability use a primary weapon when swimming as opposed to just a sidearm. It would make flanking through water alot easier.
You are right Flakfire there should be The Dutch army in the Netherlands to be more realistic and same to the Norwegian army in Norway it makes more sence
Or even adding a patch on your uniform of the various allied countries flags. That would be nice. You could choose which allied flag you would want to sport.
I would like to see the cool thermal scopes they invented during the war. They were prominently used on the M1A2 Rifle in the pacific theatre they were used on these as well the PPSH MG-42 and STG-44 as actual attachments not cosmetics it would add some super cool game play options.
Id love to see New Zealand or Australian variations of the British field dress as well as Hellenic uniforms especially in the context of maps like Mercury.
Some Waffen SS camo, smocks, dot 44, for example. More accurate german helmets, the ones we have right now look like Hungarian helmets and the side skirts are way too short. Just.. Less Gi-Joe skins, more historical accuracy skins.
You know there’s gonna be a group of people that if a kilt is added, they’ll be blasting ‘Scotland the brave’ through their mics and stabbing people with a sword (claymore if added) And I would be among them
1st A cool feature would be changing the nationality for your troops like allies can have American, Dutch, Scottish, Irish etc and Axis can have Czech, Spanish, Italian and maybe both sides can Polish 2nd the the tactical donut should have an MMG and Shield variant
If they made an elite Skin based off "Mad Jack" Churchill, complete with kilt, bagpipes slung over his back, Longbow, a sword on his hip (and included as a unique melee weapon) I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
A splintentarnmüster smock with a STG setup with STG ammo pouches a M31 canteen, M31 breadbag, and a entrenching tool. The headgear should be a helmet with a splintentarnmüster helmet cover. The legs should be standard feldgrau pants with jackboots.
Would love to have not just skins but also more face options for your company, I especially think the British should get an Indian facial model/character considering the tremendous efforts that Indian troops from the British Raj showed in combating Imperialist Japanese forces in Burma/Asia as well as Nazi German/Fascist Italian troops in Egypt/North Africa. Once the US of A joins we should also get soldier facial/character models based on Caucasian-American, African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic-American, and Native American considering the fact that despite the systematic segregation in the armed forces that lasted throughout the whole war all of America’s minority groups had members join the military and participate in the war effort against Nazi/Fascist tyranny alongside the white majority, especially considering the ideological stake American minorities had in the war with the classic Double V campaign where there would be victory not only against the forces of Fascism/Nazism overseas but also victory over Jim Crow and institutionalized racism at home in the States!
Well yeah some unique american ones. Like micheal can stay. Hes part asian obviously. But not completely. So i would be fine if i saw an asian american in a american uni fighting. It was a common thing more common then black soldiers. More common.
I would like proper German uniforms or even dipping into the dot 44 camouflage would be nice but would like to see kilts in the game would add a nice flare
When the Japanese come, I hope that there are many different designs of hachimakis. That's the bandana that many wore to battle, and what many still wear today for events, festivals, and races. Have the plain bandana and simple designs be common and uncommon, but have the more elaborate designs be higher in rarity. There's a lot of creativity to be had with these too as many were unique and also many were made by the families of the soldier.
But... In beta or alpha you could buy skins for pitols... Of course they didnt work but hey dice you can fix this! At least this! *PLEASE* *I* *NEED* *IT* !
I just want Cavalleria skins for all th eguns with the ability to have any sight compatiable with every skin (I want Cavalleria STG-44 with the 3x Scope :p).
I just want to see historically accurate uniforms like British Battledress with the GS cap or a beret and other countries used the battledress so wouldn’t be to difficult add insignia for various nations. Also weapons only certain skins on the Lee Enfield have the cheek riser for the scope I’d like to see original wood stocks like a walnut stock with the riser fitted and have some with ghillie type camo using strips of hessian.
Great Video! I think there should be a historical options/ limitations gameplay mode, where if you play maps with this setting on, you can only play as the actual units that were in the battle (map) you’re playing and the actual u informs and weapons they were recorded to have in history. Obviously, you would only be able to play with weapons from another faction/ military if you pick it up off the ground in battle, and you also wouldn’t be able to switch skins unless you play with this mode turned off. No stens on Iwo Jima. No Arisakas in France. Uniforms wouldn’t have the Mae strange names like “The Drifter” or whatever-they would actually be real uniforms that personnel were issued back in the day with theit actual nomenclature names, ex. Wehrmacht uniform, USMC Frog Skin camo, etc.) I’d also like to add that with special permission from the families, it would be cool to change the elites to be modeled after famous WW2 soldiers/ partisans/ pilots, etc. For example, if you’re playing as an American Soldier in Europe, an elite skin could be Audie Murphy.
Why the hell is there no sidearm skins in this game?? It's like they forgot that they're part of the game!! They don't even feel good to use anymore, I miss how they felt and played in BF1, now they just feel useless.
I find it odd that the British faction doesn’t have access to any standard issue P37 Web gear, it all appears to be American m1910 and m1936 pattern items(such as with canteens, pistol belts, suspenders, and even m42 jump jackets that were only issued to American Paratroopers).
They need customizations for fortifications like the Turrets, anti tank guns and flak. I think that you should have one of your skins apply on it if you built it.
Glad you liked the shorts in bf1 it took me a few arguements to get those in for the galipoli brits, unlikely that they will make an appearance in bfv... Not "cinematic lens" enough... Sorry commenters but there wont ever be any ss gear in bfv unless its accidental, including camos and ss specific kit like daggers etc... Way too much of a legal issue with that in a multiplayer game. We wanted to do plain uniforms at dice la but the rule of prosthetic cool at Stockholm beat that out of us.
I really hope when the eastern front comes, that for both factions they'll add cosmetics that have like lobster plate armor and, grenades up the wazoo and mag pouches
Flak, you should talk about potential battles/theaters of war (invasion of Poland, Second Sino-Japanese War, Continuation War, North Africa etc). DICE really dropped the ball with telling untold stories
I think Dice should make it so that any soldier that is revived by a medic they will have an empty morphine syrette pinned to their lapel or collar. At least for the US team. During WW2 US combat medics would pin the empty morphine syrette to a soldier so that triage would know how much morphine the soldier had been given. This avoided issues like overdosing soldiers. If you watch the movie "Hacksaw Ridge" you can see some of the evacuated soldiers with the morphine syrette on them.
