I had no idea what an electric linear actuator was until today. This will be perfect to inexpensively convert my $50 laptop table into a small motorized standing table without spending hundreds of dollars. Thank you for making this video!
I like how you kept those stuffs you need, indeed a true craftsman. Try to hide the cables under the frame to avoid accidents. Great idea man. Keep it up
Great table. Very sturdy and high quality material. Comes assembled which is great. I use it mainly to support my my miter saw. Like the pockets and the clamps and the lower shelf. Easy to move around.
You are right. I'm stuck with him too. It will be great if we can adjust the balance event and move the actuator aside. The legs will then be more comfortable.
Great idea brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up. Can you please give me the dimensional details of the fabricated stand ( Height, Width, depth ). Thanking you in advance
Simple and Efficient!. I will modify this to build my own with simple features like, Making the Liver switch under the Table underneath the flat surface,
@@Wilson84KS That's easy fixed when you build your own though. Obviously all these projects can be tweaked to fit your own needs if/when you build your own version
@Data Banks yes, it's always about the idea, the build itself is great, it is cheap or even for free, all materials could be harvested from waste, could also be round pipes from bike frames or whatever, the main point is how to get stability the easy way because when building tables and chairs the classic way, four legs instead a frame, you have always the problem that the legs have different hight in the end, no matter how exact you cut them, but this here is an easy job, you can use screws if you got no welder. But finally it is a proper stable table, I definitly will do that for my working bench, I will use screws instead of welding so I can take it apart and use a different system for lifting, I want to use one of the winding things that many couch tables have, where you need to move a crank, but I will use some gears, a chain and a motor, to do it by hand is pretty annoying, and hide all that in boxes which I also will use for drawers etc. so I have a real working bench around a stable frame.
Hi, I had concern regarding to the tools that you use on your project of what is the exact name the welding machine that you use in your project in this video.
