Ohh, so this was the mission referred to before with the Repelling Blasts on a boat + Armor of Agathys save + a bunch of other crazy things that happened (wow). The Dimension Door was really clutch too. Thanks for sharing the story! I also like how Kaspars was in it XD
"You can just teleport people 90 ft straight down into the water" - I'm surprised that was the DM's ruling since I'd assume visibility of the underwater destination would be an issue. Nevertheless - great to see this series back, have missed these!
Good point about the visibility requirement... we were doing some fighting underwater as well, and I think he just treated it as darkness, so Darkvision/Devil's Sight was allowing us to see through it.
Seems like a very fun session, odd question, have an idea for a character was wondering if you could do a build video on it, I'm trying to do a straight aberrant mind sorcerer than leans heavily in the psionic spells feature using sorcery points to cast instead of spell slots and converting spell slots into sorcery points, needs to be able to handle combat. It's a tough build I know especially since I'm limited to standard playable races, no variant human or custom lineage (dm won't allow which is cool, I get feats at lvl one are very strong) was thinking a tiefling varient maybe.
Hey Bilbron, I have a question about the TFC, if you would be able to answer for me. It says they have an expanded set of default familiars, but I can't find the channel they kept that in. Would either be able to tell me what they or send me a link to it?
@@Bilbrons-and-Dragons If someone casts banishment then they maintain concentration on banishment. If you cast dispel magic ON them, it would dispel all spell effects on them, right?
@@Bilbrons-and-Dragons You're not targeting his concentration. You're targeting the caster and that dispels all magical effects on him. If he is concentrating on a spell, that is a magical effect. I could be very wrong but if you cast a spell and you are currently concentrating on it, isn't that a magical effect?
@@kmoustakas Not according to Jeremy Crawford: "Dispel magic is cast on a creature, an object, or another phenomenon that is under the effect of a spell. You don't cast it on that spell's caster. To dispel a spell like banishment, you'd have to somehow cast dispel magic on the banished target." twitter.com/JeremyECrawford/status/950170649749696513
