Wow thanks Jim what a great video and one I so needed to hear right now. I’d become stuck at the acceptance stage, I know it’s needed but I’d become too accepting, too passive. I’d hidden behind it “oh well I just need to accept things as they are” type scenario. I definitely need to get braver and like you say mobilise that anger and frustration into positive action around getting free of my symptoms. I’m unleashing my badass warrior 😂

Thanks Jim for this video I totally agree with your every word. it's the queen's jubilee and 4 days of celebrations in England 🇬🇧 starting from today, I am determined to enjoy the celebrations despite my pain.👸🇬🇧🍾🎉

Right on . Living confident helps me a lot. Tapping into the anger I hardly ever do. I was just tellin my hubby I never feel angry. But I do get anxious a lot. Do you think mostly it’s anger down in there somewhere and it wants to come out and instead it comes out as “anxiety “ ? I just have been telling myself lately to keep going and I think I’m tolerating the pain better and then I notice it’s goes away as fast as in came. It will be like a big flare up and then within a hour it can be 0 pain.

That’s great it sounds like you are getting a handle on it! Yes it very well may be anger hiding under anxiety. Try to be aware of when you are angry or should be angry but get anxious instead that’s a good starting point

I had a thought while watching this video: Women appear to suffer more from mind body conditions than men for the most part. I wonder if that is because for men, the one emotion that is acceptable to display openly is anger or rage whereas women are trained to always be nice, agreeable, to put others first - and that it's unladylike to show anger or rage. And when women do show anger or rage, they are labeled as hysterical, out-of-control, or downright crazy. Women have been locked up for showing these emotions. So of course we repress them. I know these are sweeping generalities but it's been bugging me that women are reported to have more mind body conditions than men, yet are freer to show emotion than men so it doesn't make sense. But considering only anger and rage, the main culprits according to Sarno, it makes total sense.

Would you say that anger is the predominant emotion leading to the onset of symptoms while fear is what keeps it trapped??

Great question I think that is probably true although anxiety is also a big cause of symptoms by itself without anger being the dominant emotion. So both of them can cause symptoms sometimes at the same time

I do it silently in my head just like having a thought. Except these are conscious thoughts I’m inserting into the brain versus the automatic negative thoughts that many people have and listen to. They say you have between 60 to 80,000 thoughts a day so getting your own conscious thoughts in is very important especially if you have persistent negative thoughts

i never get angry with myself, but i get viscerally livid with the symptoms and with god ( whom i do'nt believe in anyway)

See if you can turn that anger around into a positive empowerment to stand up and tell your brain you’re not gonna take this anymore and move forward. Make your cortex stronger than your amygdala to regulate it that’s a key component here

Hy sir! I have seen ur videos so much amazing, I hope This applies for depression, anxiety and pain(psychological) ? i think iam phsycosomatic from long run emotions Im getting suicidal thoughts. Iam just 28 years old. iam suffering from severe depression And physical bodily pain symptoms for last 3 months, iam taking two psych meds present.. can i tapper of both clonazepam (0.5 mg) & vortioxetin (10mg) have been using for 3 weeks only.. I don't want to stay on these pills which cannot give me relef rather more I'll feeling.. Please advice me n ur support needed 🙏 iam eagerly waiting for ur reply, I don't want to regret in future help me.. Does ur idea helps me to overcome depression and physical pain also.. Please help me out

Please help me on this 👇 In one video "The association of anxiety and depression with chronic pain" u said that depression and anxiety get remissioned but, pain don't. because anxiety converts in to pain and somatic symptoms pathways. So, then how to heal that pain pathways sir?? Please comment on this 🙏🙏🙏

@@khajababu1403 You can have physical symptoms of anxiety and depression so you can certainly heal those because they’re part of anxiety and depression these are all brain and nervous system issues so you can heal the anxiety and depression you can heal the symptoms

@@margo6426 I don't have swollen joints thoughhave pain in heal when get up stuff knee whathasnt healed after 8 months and constant shoulder tension 2 years now.and pelvic pain mines built up over the years though I've cured my allergy's.
