In this video I put together the new parts with most of the parts I already had and make sure the computer works. It doesn't give video right away. I show the troubleshooting steps and explain what went wrong. I did get it working.
This is the one I have. It has the same 64bit set along with some other useful tools and a carrying case.

Why do you put the gpu in the bottom slot?

It's to give room for the wireless adapter. The bottom slot is a 4x pci express slot but that is enough lanes for the graphics card.

Samuel Garcia It's a Core i5 3470. It was shown in Part 1, the previous video.

1. You can clear CMOS with taking out cr2032 battery for a couple seconds. 2. If you dont get any beeps even with no ram installed, that means your system doesnt have CPU. If you really have CPU, that may be because of couple reasons: a. Bent pins on socket b. Dead MB c. Dead CPU d. And as it video shows, overtightened screws on cpu cooler (really bad design from dell imo)

I think I agree with all that. The thing that was different about this situation is the no post no video was caused by the CPU cooler being too tight and bending the motherboard.

You could have bought a high spec NUC but would have cost you 3 times as much but then I guess you would have had to add s external graphics card cost ,6 times more than your system . Anyway good work . Enjoyed the vids
