Love the look of this bike. Has the perfect stance. The gold accents are awesome. And the vintage looking tires with spoke wheels, especially against the springer front looks killllllller man. Excellent work.
Ahhhhhh u stole my copper pipe coolant hose idea!!! I've drawn a lot of inspiration from you guys for my vt1100 hard tail That thing is beautiful guys Thanks for the videos
Wow considering you used a rattle can for the paintwork, thats an awesome build bro. Look forward to these videos every Monday, Great stuff Cheers From UK
Been binge watching all your other vids while patiently waiting for you to post another. You knocked it out of the park with this one! Just like all the others. Good stuff man.
Your talent is beyond the best of the best . Hands down . "Short story". Bobber motorcycles is in my blood everything you know is a rush I fuel my desires to ride from. I wanted a bobber motorcycle so bad that a friend said a west coast builder named Chopper Jake moved here to Missouri n he could do wat you just done . So agreement was made I had a 24×24 shop kit " the whole shop" and a antique boat been in my family for 60 years and $3,800 cash . He build the bike . I delivered all items I just said to his location . I waited waited waited waited waited and one day he said come check out your bike . I got to his location and there's no bobber no motorcycle I liked but he had a Harley Davidson sitting there n he said you like my bike n I said sure but where is mine and he n his buddy's starting laughing at me well it didn't take long to figure out I was fucked . I had lost a wife to cancer n raised 3 kids n put them through college and I just lost my girlfriend to a auto accident. I didn't have much to lose chopping Jake up . A week went by and he made the news he was trafficking meth n busted n 25 years sentence. My savings empty . My family antique boat gone . And the shop kit gone. My buddy who referred me had his shop robbed by chopper Jake the big west coast builder he was . I haven't gotten a bobber motorcycle yet . 😮 😢 life is life n it costed me enough to wish . Wonder what rim size his running on that build? Gaaad daaaaaammmn!!!! My Triumph sprint 900 engine is almost in the mail, cant wait to start building....
I admire that level of bike building. I never got beyond putting a bicycle together or swapping sparks and my old ride still does not fire up with a new fuel pump, so I gave up. The only thing I don't get is the hard tail part, which cuts down tremendously on ride safety. Anyway, my point was actually, a motorcycle is not that much more difficult constructed as a bicycle, which have standard components, yet there are only upgrade and tuning parts for motorbikes, but no box system out there. Harley Davidson are just way too expensive and old iron over here is also off limits, even so they are actually only frame, suspension, engine gear box combo, fuel tank, breaks, lights, speedo and wiring plus extras. Kit Cars are out there, no bike kits.
Hey man. I know this was a year ago but where did you get the springier front end? I've looked and looked and can't find one for a shadow anywhere! Thanks in advance man.
Such a sick build bro, it’s crazy I found this cause I’m building something exactly like it! An old FTR frame I got in Japan. I’d love to know how you wired it! I’ve never been good at wiring
Man could you do a video of beginners guide on how to build something like this. I know it’s different every time but there must be some sorta blue print.
I have a question, i see in too many videos the frame of the motorcycle gets modified but, this is completly necessary? I know the bobbers are made for style and not to be confortable but what if i want the confortability of a cruiser but the style of a bobber? (I a wrote something wrong its cus' english its not my main lenguage sorry haha but a keep in the practice)
I'd be curious to see how the ignition is wired up. I see you're using a stock looking coil under the tank, and the M-unit and starter solenoid are in the barrel-shaped box you made, but what about the module/CDI box? Pretty big item to hide.
Scott Beard I used the stock cdi but completely rewired it to work with the m unit. The cdi box is hidden in the cylinder also. I made a sliding "shelf" for the m unit and starter solenoid that sits on the top half of the cylinder, the cdi is tucked underneath it
