Another channel I watch used those same lights. They are great. Keep the shop videos coming. Looking forward to the finishing metal going up. Thanks for the great content. I've watched 50 seconds and... I might have commented it before but I'm saying it again: I really appreciate the fact that you went to the trouble of having musicians do a soundtrack for your channel and creating a unique musical identity to your videos which connects parts together. There are a lot bigger channels who do all sorts of fancy editing and yet never bother to take this step, and it's honestly baffling that it's SO rare! So good job and good job to the Semi-Supervillains, it sounds great.

Your new work space is awesome but there is one thing that you might consider adding . When you are inside working on a new to you piece of equipment and you can't work on it outside because of the weather the inside is going to get filled with diesel fumes and other fumes (gas , propane, etc. ) you might want to install a large exhaust fan ( 1 or 2 ) so that way you don't have to open up the roll up doors and lose heat . Just an idea 💡.

As for the ceiling, consider foam insulation for the ceiling. Only problem with foam is that you will have to do a lot of masking and draping, as that foam stuff gets everywhere.

I made a few lights from explosion proof ( you might not need that, I had to comply with USAF regs) and put them on wheels with a bolt through the middle of the end so it can be tilted. If you use LED lights you can have great lights under equipment and the tilt capability will keep it out of the way. Looks great, looking forward to seeing the floor heater hooked up.

With all that roof space a back up solar power system might be alternative to look at in the future on either building depending on their orientation

@@heartland96a yeah a nice solar/battery system may be a better option and use the generator as a backup for heavy demand

I’ll bet he will put power to the farm when goes to build his house on property! Mostly because of the cost to put power on the property!!🤗

Many power systems will run in for free if it is going to a residence because that is a long term year around commitment where a shop might not be

I couldn't agree anymore.. This shop, with these lights..Incredible. I said it once, but it needs to be said again...I am envyious of this shop. I missed out on the chance to have a 22 x 40 shop..city re-zoned our neighborhood. So I work out of 2 structures. A 15ft sq 1922 garage (my shop), and a 20x22 carport (my shed). Neither are heated.
