One option to determine your body measurements is to do something similar to biomechanics. While wearing minimal or skin tight clothing, find the anatomical landmarks that are hinges (i.e. greater trochanter of the femur). Mark these areas with a cross of tape that is visible against the skin or clothing. Then stand in front of a camera with a calibration guide. You can then measure the calibration guide in photo editing software, and also measure the distance between the markers.

And I think you should edit the model so it opens up from the back like in the movie, so you can slide into the suit, so I would suggest a remote that triggers the servos to open up, and will close when your in it, so I would suggest you print an exoskeleton that keeps the suit stiff, so it stands in its own

For double hinging knees I recommend checking out Red Dragon Knee & Shin Protectors, they seem to function pretty well most of the time.

Awesome! Can't wait to see how it comes out. I'm actually finishing up my Model Prime (Invincible Iron Man Comic) helm now and have been deciding on which helm to build next. :) The Heartbreaker is totally near the top of my list, but one of my subscribers has been asking for the Silver Centurion - so that's coming next on my end. I'm sure your build will be super sick - I'll definitely be following your progress...

I think it would be cool to do some sort of steam/smoke effect for most of the vents around the chest and arms. Since Heartbreaker canonically has a more powerful than normal Uni-beam, I feel it would be pretty cool to show the suit cooling down from firing plus it would kinda look like it's breathing in a way. Love your work btws :)

you should look into chicago screws , those helped me a lot for raiden ( MGS4) suit , very usefull integrating fabrics with plates and to improvise hinges that you can partly dissasamble to get in & out of the suit

The coolest and rarest thing is that a girl can create such costumes, it deserves a thumbs up and everything else. Hopefully in the future it will be possible to Contact and create joint projects. P.s. I also create iron man costumes))

I love your shit. I started printing my own on a single ender 3 2 yrs ago. i made it from right hand up to the right elbow before i got overwhelmed with parts and keeping track of everything. Doing it in matte colors like OD Green, Cyote brown, black etc would look great over a metallic base coat with the geometry. Giving it battle damage would help too.

yo just a suggestion in regards to looking into making the suit, there was an iron man 3 mobile game with a heartbreaker 3d model in it, not too sure if its still accessible but it did show how the flaps on the back did move (it was a little bit more unique than the other armours in the marvel universe) plus i love the work u doin, its really fun watchin u

May be you can use a Raspberry Pi with a Battery Pack in the Backpack with an installed J.A.R.V.I.S. Interface on it and a Headset in the Helmet!? Greatings from Germany!

Maybe it would be possible to somehow put a small lcd screen into the arc reactor in order to display some animations (for example on startup of thr suit). Though it would probably not give the deph effect that simple LEDs with a diffuser do.. Maybe a combination of both with a electrically controlled diffusionplate would look better (If it is possible to get/build one). (Sorry for the long text) Edit: Forgot to say, keep up the good work! ^^

What about the Mark 24 literally called tank with the same chest Piece? Or the Mark 32 Romeo also named after the same chest piece but basically being the most effective version of HeartBreaker and a stealth suit? I personally would have gone with those but I do understand, HeartBreaker has a much better esthetic with the og colors and interesting shapes

Uh... A open brainstorm. Brave to put this video op. (probs to you) Yes laser pointer in the front arm. Maybe smoke in the back. Red and orange lights in the back. Then i would look lige you rocket boosted away in the smoke. Or fired a shoulder rocket. You need a good defusion layer in the large light on the front. Maybe you can use a defusion layer from a old pc monitor. You mighe also be able to use the linses in the screen, such the lidt do not look lile a flashlight. The best og luck.

Consider giving your suits a lion like mane. That way you have a good place to put your hair. Also, the blue suit would sound nice if you called it the cobalt suit.

Imagine. Cobalt, iron man's sucessor and daughter. Her genius rivals tony starks, except she has a weakness he did not. Her kryptonite (as all superheros should have) is cyborgs. She tries to distance herself from them as much as she can, and refuses to analize them for combat. Ofcourse she can learn how to deal with it, but it still bugs her. It also limits her suits because she wont go the extra mile like her father, and alter her body in any way for her suits. So her challenge is getting around body modifications. Imagine if she met bucky. Instead of him trying to shake her hand with his metallic one, she'd raise her hand first so he has to use his real one.
