Kan, you can use Q to enlarge the pipes and you do not need pipes to get water, just attach the tank to the pump.

You should try to just take off the seat and put it back on maybe it just hasn’t registered that it’s upgraded

Put a chest right beside the craftbot and then it will show the items inside of the chest so then you can have more items to craft with

I feel like the arm for mining isnt the way to go. It has to small of a bit and can only do so much at a time. My idea (If i had an actual computer to run this game) would be to put 2-4 drills on the face of the vehicle and just drive straight into it. that way you don't have to focus on one part of the rock or try to aim. You can just drive straight forward and into it. Please like so he can see🙏🏻

The wiki suggests that you could have a 9 plot every 256 blocks of separation and put carrots, tomatoes, or radishes in them. Just don't keep the food there. Let the plot be empty every other night. That will give you a little food that you can use without needed to protect it too much. Heck, I have 4-5 such plots and I just spend one day about every 4-5 days for farming and diving. My farms are all by water.

Maybe make a arm with suspension so that when the drill bounces off, it bounces back and won't push the car as much

Devs should definitely increase the "hitbox" of the drill while keeping the "collision box" the same. Makes it less of a hassle when drilling.

You should mount 5 drills onto a single fixture so they can mine in all frontal directions. like have them look up down left right and forward, then you would only have to rotate and elevate the arm on the Y axis and extend on the Z axis if necessary. If you wanted to you could use multiple pistons with switches to fine tune its height in the y axis.

This series might just be the best thing ever

You know what'd be a really cool feature? Being able to create your own Scrapbot companion, it'd be so much fun to build-up/raise/upgrade a small bot to adventure with. Imagine being able to pick up the totebot heads and Haybot limbs and combine them into new petbots. I imagine that you could make blueprints or something just incase your bot dies and you need to rebuild them quickly.

You still can just change the stearing to only need one bearing on the middle and have that extra conection

There is always the obvious option of welding the arm to the ground. No need to constantly move forward and no worries about weight. Also, try connecting a chest to the water storage for more water stored. I am unsure if that will work but it is worth trying.

When you farm make sure u farm one day and skip one day so that u only get a teir one taid each time. Teir one raid has only two of the tiny green robots so it will be easy for u to defend your farm

you could try using multiple drills at different angles to "grab" the rock outcroppings so the drills don't bounce off

Why not put the drill on the piston engine beacuse it has so much torque. also plz make a tutorial on how to make a piston car

You need to put a ground anchor on the back of your mining vehicle to counter the reverse push from the mining arms pressure. Just use a downward facing piston block with some concrete, drop it down so that it lifts you slightly and removes traction from your back wheels while locking you in place with its weight. That will stabilize your vehicle and let you push against the stone without bouncing around like a floppy noodle.

Use a sensor on the seat and a logic gate so your movement only works when you in the seat. That way it can't run away

Your craft bot is glitched, at level 5 there should be a loop button above and to be he right of an item in the he process of being crafted. If clicked, the craft bot will create as many of that item as it can untill it runs out of resources or the button is clicked again.

kan, you should try experimenting with the craft bots, mainly seeing if a craftbot can request craftbots with outputs connected to the first ones inputs to start crafting items needing to craft a different item.

You should make a stand so you just have to hit a button and pigs foot down and you can just sit there without thing moving in mind with your arm but you had to get rid of something because you don’t have enough places to hook into your seat

I dont know if this works, but try like using a drill to drill glue clamp things, and then a vacum pump to suck them up and into the base. You can also try to use vacum pumps on those oil deposits, maybe you can build a oil rig.

What about using the seat and lift lowering trick to pump water from under the map, therefore being able to have water inside a closed base.

I was able to make all the connections to the seat. My problem is my drill rig slides down even the shallowest of slopes no matter which way it is facing when stoped.

To Kan When you are making a boat make a catamaran and but at least two pumps in each hull making it op in water production when you’re making sea endeavours in case you need to extinguish something . But also on second thought why not make the base a ship so you don’t need to camp at one place all the time just dock at some peninsula or shore so you can stay there for a few (in game ) days only because plants grow ever so quick . And another benefit of having a ship/ base is that you can mine rock faces and then sail away instead of waiting for it to despawn. If you need to scout over a place to check it’s worth I would a propose a flyer at best. only incorporate this into the game once you got a spud gun from the trader so you don’t lose him later in the game and need a spud gun. I honestly dont know if anyone has suggested this yet but... You might be able to kill robots by making a jumping vehicle and make it heavy enough to crush them when it lands on them... Same with your farm u might just be able to create a bunch of crushers they walk under to attack your plants and get crushed.... I really don't know if anyone suggested this yet so all credit goes to them if someone all ready did. And i love your videos.

Farming every night will increase the number of farm bots that spawn to destroy your crops. If you get raided the previous night, no unauthorized farming was detected, you can skip 1 day of farming to reset the raid difficulty. If you only plant 9 crops or less the unauthorized farming will not be detected. Also, controllers can be found at the traffic stops directly outside the factories.

Just thought of something for a robot arm. Would it be too complex to (once you have electric engines) create a robotic arm with the old-style bearing pistons, having electric engines hooked up to each bearing? Because that would have a fully adjustable length. Just an idea, no clue how feasible that is.

It might help if you added suspention to the drill so that it doesnt get bounced back that much.

You should farm for 2-3 days, harvest before midnight of last day, the go 1-2 days without farming for the freedom to explore, regulate farm bot raids and get food at great balance

Use a suspension piece to dampen that bounce-back effect when mining. Also, in one of ScrapMan's videos, he found an island that had a decent size. He also put several layers of defense around his farm plot, but I'm not sure how close the island is to the mechanic's shop or packing stations.

SMS needs some sort of XP or something that disappears or decreases when you die so dying because you ran out of food wouldn’t be your first option. It’s kinda to over powered for a survival game.

For mpm do a trucker challenge where u have to go hinge up trailers whoever has the most trailers at the end of the time wins. But I’m sure you can come up with your own idea
