English subtitles are available. This is a complete build of Dragon's Pz.Beob.Wg.IV Ausf. J Tank in 1/35 scale. This is truly a complete build in which you get to see the build, painting, and weathering. Enjoy
Great video as always. Very interesting vehicle, the Panzerbeobachtungswagen IV was a vehicle that had special radio equipment. Another model that you could considerate is Flakpanzer IV, wxist several options and look impressive just at side of this. Great job, that God bless you and thanks by your efforts in modelism. Greetings from Venezuela
Very Very excellent build Collin! I really love how you did the preshading and the weathering. It really makes the tank look very visually engaging! Keep up the fantastic work! :)
YAAAAY! Always excited for a new QDC video. Looks pretty good to me! I really appreciate you taking the time to do this, when I sit down and do a model, I can't be bothered recording my work or building through a viewfinder and smiling for a camera...lots of credit to you for the amount of work that goes into these videos. Thanks very much! Always love German Armour too!
Wow! It looks so realistic! I have to use this painting-technique next time too. Great work as always QDC. My favourite of all your videos. Greetings from germany!
I finished a model the other night and thought to myself, Now it's time to paint the model. Keep up the work, really like your videos. Do the UDT model please
I was worried when you chipped before you put the colour coat on but it came out beautifully.. thanks for showing this method and an excellent result on the Dragon Pzr.IV
+DELT SLAYER Cool. 1/350 is an impressive scale. I visited the New Jersey during the 1980's. It's a cool ship! I'm sure your project will turn out looking great!
+qdc748a Just thought you'd like to know; I am working on a p39 Airacobra from the Pacific theater. In addition to the usual pre/post shading, I also do an overspay of buff paint. It's a great technique, not just for armor, but aircraft as well.
Collin...that item you referred to as the rear of the hull. That's actually a glacis plate for a JagdPz IV. It can be used in a scratch build for a tank destroyer such as that. These extra parts are often compatible with Italeri kits. It makes those kits much nicer. A bonus with the nice Dragon kit you already got.
Hi QDC I haven't commented your videos for a time now but as always I like em all! It's such a pleasure and very motivating watching your videos and see how truely entertained you are while building :) I hoped to see you building this tank ever since you showed us the box back in the Panther/M10 video. Thank you and have a nice day Sir! PS: Your try on the German language wasn't bad at all. Only you should try to say Beobachtung as one word and Wagen as a separat one ;)
+R'n'S You are very welcome. It is nice to know I have viewers like yourself who watched my videos for a long time. Thank you. I hope my videos encouraged you to build your own model kits because that is my purpose :) Learning another language is challenging but rewarding at the same time. I appreciate your correction on speaking the word "Beobachtung." Take care and have a great day! :)
Hey qdc i really enjoy watching your videos and you have brought the interest of building models to a "hull" new level to me. (hahaha punz 4 days) Thank you fo being a awesome influenc! .-Luketheduketv
I love your videos! I have the Dragon Kugelblitz and was left with a TON of extra parts. Something like 3 full extra spures for the Jagdpanzer IV. I swear Dragon likes to tease! LOL! Great job on the model!
Lots of extras! I currently am working on their Kugelblitz and have been halted 4 times now in any progress! First I ran out of paint, then I had an epic airbrush failure that ended up breaking multiple parts and forced me to buy a new one. Got the new airbrush and tried new paint with it. When I was cleaning my new airbrush the trigger fell down the drain! I swear this kit is cursed! LOL!
this is the best model i have seen from you so far. gd job Q! you really should use this way of painting more often, it gives a very nice result :) Just 1 tip though, the chipping would look better if you used a piece of sponge and lesser paint on it. it gives the chipping a realistic look
Great video as always QDC, people were not kidding when they say Dragon kits have a lot of parts, I think I might just stick with Tamiya for now, but would like to try a dragon model tank in the future
for not being a German native speaker, you did a good job. quick advise E in German is not pronounced I like Beer (BI) but AE. So Beobachtungs is pronounced Beao-bag-tungs. ;)
WOW! You really did an outstanding build but the paint and weathering on this piece is truly amazing! You did this kit justice with your talents Colin, now do you have a diorama in mind for this model?!
