This frame is becoming close to completion after we finished the lower trusses, and tied everything off for the upstairs and lower roofs.
We have a bit of work to do at the front of the house, to create its front feature, which is why this video was cut up (both half of days 16 and 17 was spent working on this feature)
Its exciting being so close to having this frame finished!
Massive thankyou to everyone who has been watching this series!

Watching how pre nail trusses go up is pretty cool and interesting! We just put the thing together after the detailer has finished... LOL

14:37 - Nail a block on the side when joining up so you don't have to nail both on the single stud .

What brand and mm nails do you use, and do you use glue or shanked for the AEG?

how is cladding going on the wall close to the house next door?

Not sure what type of cladding for this wall. I have seen bricklayers lay from the inside or Hebel panels being screwed from the tophat out.

I’ve done a few jobs similar to this, where they will lay bricks from the inside. This was originally going to be brick, but I think it is now going to be hebel panels, or some similar sheeting

@@ethan.p1159 The houses I've built are all garage boundary walls so didn't put the membranes/insulation. For this job I guess Dave's builder will have to clad first then staple strips of wall wrap in between studs before insulation.

I believe they’ve decided to go with some hebel panels. I might need to make a video on it, if I’m on site when it’s being done
